I’m 5’2 and 100lb – size S was too big. In fact, I was able to wear my backpack under it along with 3 other layers. That being said, given it’s just a thin shell it very lightweight doesn’t feel like you’re even wearing anything. I hiked in the pouring rain and it was 100% waterproof – which was the main purpose of this purchase. I liked that it had a hood with a small extra extension at the front, it really helped. The drawstrings at the sides of the jacket don’t hold and slowly slip out which is a bit annoying.
Overall, decent purchase for the price.

It has never fit back into it’s original casing, how they did it in the factory is beyond me. It creases like crazy. It has no breath-ability so gets hot and therefore sweaty very quickly. It is cheap though.

Bought this as a compact travel coat to keep relatively warm and dry in transit from cold/wet climate to dry (and back). Works well as that. Definitely not, as a lot of reviewers have found out, up to the task of extreme weather/survival situations. Quality of parts such as toggles comes at a cost of compactness. No ventilation as the other reviews say, but for quick use, ie moped journey or airport transfer, it will keep you warm and relatively dry. But no good for hiking unless you enjoy the method of sweating perfusely to lose weight.

Received this product on time. It’s a little bulky when in its pouch, but I keep it in my bike panniers in case I need it. It’s light and comfortable and keeps the rain off. I used it while cycling across Europe and a good value for the price. I’ll probably buy a second one.
I only gave it four out of five because I believe it should pack up slightly smaller.

This is a good rain shell. It arrived very wrinkled but has since unwrinkled in a few weeks. It’s good for walking the dog in the rain and cycling in cooler weather when layered. The rain hood is pretty big and can be adjusted which is good. For the price it’s a good value. It works best layered with full sleeves since it doesn’t breathe and will hold moisture in. It does not leak even in heavy rain. Keep in mind this is a shell so you must layer it in cold weather.

Wanted a light, packaway raincoat for hikes and summer activity. This is fantastic. Most waterproof jackets of this price range look cheap and plasticy. This looks stylish, folds away into itself and fits like a light raincoat should. I am yet to wear it in pouring rain so I will update if my opinion changes.

Content de m’être trouvé une veste imperméable qui se range et s’emporte facilement en randonnée pour servir en cas d’urgence. Par contre, si l’averse est le moindrement forte ou prolongée, après 30 minutes d’exposition, vous serez quand même trempé.

I’ve had this for few weeks now. I was using it as a light rain jacket for when I go running. It actually seems to do a better job of absorbing water than it does repel.
Does not keep the lightest amount of rain out and then holds it on your skin. Every time I’ve used this in rain my shirt/arms are soaked afterwards. When it’s sunny out it’s basically like wearing a garbage bag. Makes you sweat like crazy. Just an awful jacket don’t buy it go for something a little more expensive it will be worth it.

I think this is a great stylish and practical product. I wore it in the rain and it kept me warm and dry. My purchase is light blue and it coordinates well with my clothing. The rear pocket is very handy for light articles and it has two deep side pockets. Mine is true to size as advertised and covers my hips.
The rear pocket can be used to store the fold-away jacket.

I spent a lot of time reading reviews throughout Amazon to find a good-ish rain coat. I bought what I paid for. The problem with this rain jacket is the zipper. And I walk A LOT. On my first thirty minute speed walk to work I arrived with the entire front of my shirt – underneath – soaked. The zipper is not waterproof. Also it rained a lot on my walk but I expect a rain coat to keep what is covered dry. I don’t think that is an unacceptable thing to ask of a rain coat.
It works everywhere else and is a good wind breaker. I would buy it at a dollar store for 7-8$. I will now be buying a Columbia rain coat. And thus, I have learned my lesson.

I have been using this for biking in winter. With a base layer underneath, it keeps you surprisingly warm. On my ride today, I had to stop and take it off every 20 minutes just to wipe down my sweat. It was unusually warm so we will see how if goes when it is colder. My main complaint with this is that even after two washes, you can still see the wrinkles from the original shrink packaging. I would much prefer the jacket not be folded so tightly so that there are no wrinkles. Other thing to note is that you have to hang dry both the outside and inside layers. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

Very lightweight packable waterproof jacket. I wanted to find a light outer layer for hiking that would fit in my pack. This is perfect. Great for wind and rain. The rear pocket is roomy. Very waterproof and will seal in perspiration so needs to be dried before packing it back up. Keeps you very warm though. I wear over down vest and it’s the only layer I need for most summer hikes. I am tall and thin and this fits perfect. The sleeves are long enough, which is typically what I have trouble with. Good shape to the hood as well.
