They’re built for Audioengine A2+ speakers, but will also fit a bunch of other smaller sized desktop speakers.
They seem to inject sound in your face, and open up a wonderful sound field. When you put the same set of speakers flat, you lose a lot of great quality right there. BUY THESE NOW.
Theyre made of a firmish rubber, yet flexible. They look so cool too.

These stands are well made and match my A2+ speakers very well. They’re very grippy. The angle is steeper than the pictures suggest so it does in fact aim to ear level from about 1 metre away.
They’re a bit pricey for what you get but they are as advertised and the fit and finish are well matched to the speakers.

so after using these stands for awhile now i need to revise my original review.to be honest ive buried these in my desk. i was really never happy with the material or look of these.ive went to a competitors speaker stand that is built out of metal.why a company that makes such a great speaker would not make a better speaker stand i cant understand.i spent good money on my a2+ and these speaker stands always made them look cheap.

If I wanted to put my blinkers on I could mark these stands down for being pricey for what they are physically, and, yes, being just a trifle narrower than the speakers they were produced to support. Those are sort-of valid points, but I wonder how readily one would come up with a genuinely easily made or obtained alternative that is at least as effective. It’s easy to come out with negative opinions, but I am more interested in the practical reality.
For me, the stands are doing a remarkable job in greatly minimizing sound transmission to my computer desk from my new Audioengine A2+ speakers, with a significant subjective improvement in the sound. No, they don’t completely stop such sound transmission – total isolation would be a real ‘holy grail’! Nonetheless, before I was using those stands every loud passage in orchestral or organ music was causing vibration of my desk, which I could feel with my hand – and indeed could feel also right down the desk’s legs, with the potential to disturb my neighbour below despite concrete floor and sound insulation underneath that – whereas now, with the stands, only the most extreme loud passages produce feelable vibration on my desk. Of course, their tilting the speakers upwards is just right for a computer desk, but if one wanted to use them, say, on high bookshelves, in some instances these stands might serve well reversed, so tilting the speakers a bit downwards.

I found these stands for my A2+ to be a bit expensive for just some pieces of rubber! What pushed me towards buying them is my OCD for looks and assumed they would be the best at making the speakers look better and also read they improved the audio for the A2+, something I was very skeptical about but took the plunge anyway.
Upon getting them out of the box, they were not much to look at and in my opinion did not visually speaking fit the speakers very well. However when it comes to audio it pretty much helped the A2+ in every way it increased clarity, opened the perceived space of the audio up and tightened and cleared up the bass which i was very happy about as it seemed very muddy before.
These are definitely worth the money for how much they improve the audio but I like other reviewers have said, these should of come with the speakers. It feels a little like DLC (downloadable content) thats on a game disc already but you’re being made to pay extra for it again!

Bought it for my A5+ setup that I’ve had for about 3 years now because I was looking for that sexy look. Was positively surprise with the augmentation of quality of the sound due to the angle on the orientation of the speaker, the look is awesome too. I was skeptical before getting them because I didn’t want a glossy surface but in fact it’s a nice matte one, so… great, another happy customer!
Also, the rubber really diminish the quantité of vibration caused by my speakers, but the sound quality it better, I’d call this quite an amelioration on my last setup.

They work perfectly and angle the sound up slightly, for improved audio.
A little pricey for what they are, but you could have bought cheaper speakers too. 😉

Was spending almost $50 on these a good use of money? Probably not. Did this make my A5+’s sound noticeably better when sitting at my desk? yes, definitely. I guess Audioengine nailed the market with these. At least they feel pretty high quality and don’t stick out in my setup.

Let me keep this short n sweet.
They are do not offer much vibration dampening and i dont have bass heavy speakers, the bass can still be felt through the desk. I have reference 24bit digital Kef X300A running tidal hifi. These speakers are crisp and super detailed.
The height and angle of these stands clean up the sound stage and clarity considerably well, the tiny bit of dampening does seem to help in this area also but do not expect miracles as you probably will not be able to tell the differnce in dampening but will in soundstage and clarity due to the angle…
Not as advertised as far as i am concerned about bass isolation but do look good and make the sound cleaner which was my main objective…

Do they improve speakers? Yes. Fewer vibrations, perhaps slightly better bass, and generally the speakers seem to sound a bit better.
Should they have come with the speakers? Yes. It is a ripoff that they are not provided with the speakers.
Are they good value? Absolutely not. The cost to manufacture can not be more than a few pence. I’ve had devices come with more expensive packing and safety fixtures than these stands appear to be made from.

I bought these for my Audioengine speakers which are sitting on fairly small brackets, also designed for books or bookshelf speakers.
My speakers were facing straight ahead whilst I was sitting at a desk immediately in front of them; the sound was, therefore, going over my head, so to speak. What I needed was a way to angle the speakers downwards to aim them at my ears.
These purpose designed speaker stands do the job 100%, as you might expect. They could equally be used to position speakers on a desktop to point them up towards a user’s ears, probably the most common use.
So if they work so well, why only 4 stars?
The price. If these had come in around the ten quid mark they would have received 5 stars. At 150% over that sweet spot price I just swallowed hard when I ordered them, knowing that this was the only realistic solution and there was a high price premium.
I’m very satisfied with them but I had no realistic alternative and so I paid the price.

These stands are my saver. I had many ideas how to put my studio monitors to the ear level, but it was too difficult. Then I saw these and the price was excellent. They were open box so much less expensive, but without visible scratches or so. And, finally, my twitters are in the correct position so I can enjoy the music and do my mixes with a better quality. However, I don’t think I should buy them at the full price

Mandatory if you plan to sit at the desk where you have your speakers. Without these stands, the speakers are aimed around your belly/gut area, so it’s not ideal. After I placed these under my speakers, I was getting fuller sound and the blast of air when the bass hits lines up great with my face. I’m satisfied.
