I bought this to test out my video streaming app and as an Android Pixel 4 owner was hoping for a “pure” Android experience, but using this product feels more like using Windows Phone OS (HTC) back in the 2010s. There is a lot of crapware on the system, there is no sense of overriding coordinated interface. Some of the native Google Play apps don’t work. If you are an experimentalist (which I am) it is neat to tinker with similar Android functions on your TV (as long as you connect a keyboard). But as a consumer product competing with Apple TV and even the crappy Samsung/LG smart TV apps, this box, and perhaps Android TV, still has a way to go.
As a developer of video streaming apps on this platform, our app actually turned out nicely and is a pleasure to watch, but as an operating system user experience, it isn’t great.

This was the second of three streaming device that I bought this month to use the Bell Fibe TV app. The first was a Windows-based mini computer that was twice the price of the other two. It had a noticeable lag in streaming the video to the television and the picture quality was poor. This Android TV box was the second. The Bell Fibe TV app was easy to load on the unit. However, every time I tried to use the Bell Fibe TV app for the monthly service which I pay for, I received an HDCP (anti-piracy protocol) error message. This is the handshake between devices that allows commercial content to play. I searched online for an answer and it was suggested that an HDMI splitter might resolve the problem, so I ordered one, it arrived, and the HDCP error message still appeared when using this Android TV box. I put up with lagging pictures for the next week with the mini-computer, until the Amazon 4K Fire Stick, the third streaming device, arrived. That streaming device is absolutely amazing and delivers a superior picture to the Android TV box, both which were about the same price. I would recommend you take a pass on the Android TV box and just buy the Amazon 4K Fire Stick. After using it, I am very disappointed in the Android TV box, and wondering now what I can actually do with it. The Amazon 4K Fire Stick shamelessly pushes content on Amazon Prime and I will probably end up subscribing to that as well as Bell Fibe TV. The fire stick uses the Alexa voice recognition as well for commands and speaks to you. Too cool….

Be careful because this is a rooted or unlocked android box and I just realised that I can not have Netflix on it because Netflix has removed access to the app on the play store for any devices like this. The version that was already loaded on the box wasnt working properly so I uninstalled and now I cant get it back again.
Update- prime video also does not work on this box because amazon also blocks it from playing on an unlocked device. So now limited to sideloading apps, which the sideloaded Netflix and prime dont work. Basically I have YouTube and kodi

Box works fine except for Netflix – many shows simply won’t play. Figured I would update or uninstall/reinstall Netflix but discovered it’s installed as a system app so I can’t . Android 10 so I can’t update that either. Had to return it.

I purchased the box in order to test the Android 10.0 system.
First impression was great. Good quality picture, nice launcher with optimal home screen and easy customization.
Applications are easy to install and uninstall, as you can do uninstalling right in the home screen-all applications.
I was able to install kodi and to play 4k movies; the processor and 4 G of RAM made the difference.
After I installed all the applications that I need, I still have over 24 G of memory.
I also installed Netflix and Prime Video and they both work perfect.
I would definitely recommend this box for buying.

The box is a fraudulent box. When u use CPU-Z to get the system specs u will see it’s a Pixel 2 phone OS. Is extremely glitchy. Usually on a keyboard u can use tab and cntrl to open up multiple windows to close them all cleaning ur memory. It won’t work. Also prime doesn’t work on the box, Netflix
won’t work ethier. The box is glitchy as crap. As a professional android box technician and seller whose been in the android box world for many many years this is a bait and switch box. A T95 box should have a system OS not a Google Pixel 2 Firmware. The settings menus are really hard to navigate and a hassle. The box is clone or a knock-off counterfeit. I own Android geeks and I can tell you this is a counterfeit box. No android box that is sold via professional seller would use a Pixel 2 firmware on a T95 box released December 5, 2019 which is the date on the software. Also, CPU-Z would tell you right away whether it’s a Amlogic S905 or a rocket chip processor and it comes up neither of those processors which makes this box extremely sketchy to say the least. I would avoid this android box immediately. If u have recently purchased the box please message seller for a full refund. Don’t get scammed.
In no way shape or form does this product mention a system on the box ( Google Pixel 2 which is a cheap low end android Phone ) it’s Bait and Switch. ) END OF STORY.

Nice little box, plays 4K movies smoothly. Comes with latest Android 10 OS. I like the box front has a time display like an ordinary cable box. If you don’t have a smart TV like me but want youtube and netflix those stuffs, this is for you.

Wow, Android 10 makes such a huge difference. I was contemplating on getting another Android 9 box, but wanted to try something a little different so opted for this newer version. I’m so glad I did because the main homepage and interface of the apps is super nice and easy to use. Its nice and compact, making it easy to move around or take to a friends house. I would highly recommend getting the 4gb ram model and nothing less, because it makes the box run so much faster especially when streaming. Really happy with my purchase!
