This battery strap kit is very clean amd simple to put together. It is an instant upgrade to the stock headstrap of the Oculus. It comes with a generous array of handy extra peices. The straps allow for a clean finish and headset with cable tidy lines.

The Quest 2 VR headset has quite a short battery life of 1 to 2 hours. Need a supplementary power pack to extend operational time. This holder is ideal for the Anker power block. The waist strap permit the pack to worn comfortably, and the supplied USB-C/USB-A cable allows the pack to be connected to the headset. The buckle on the belt is a bit of a pain to use in the first instance as no instructions supplied. The magnetic 90 degree USB-C connector is not as good as a fixed connector so I have changed this for a different cable. Overall a decent product.

For anyone still wondering, it fits great on the Q2. Also to the other reviewer that showed how tight it is on the Q2 strap, they may have listened to you as mine is a perfect fit.

Wow! This mount is absolutely perfect for my needs. I use it to attach an Anker Powercore II 20000 battery pack to my Quest 2 for basicly unlimited playtime, and a perfectly balanced counterweight. It fits pretty much all strap options, and includes a quality, adjustable waist strap. The included magnetic usb-c charge cable is a nice touch and seems to be high quality. Couldn’t live without it!

I paired this with an anker power bank for 6 hours of continuous play. I recommend strapping it to the top of your head as it helps balance the Quest 2 so it feels overall lighter. The only time you feel the weight is if you quickly snap your head left or right, but it’s not a problem at all. The pad is comfortable if you can find that little flat spot on the back of your skull. Takes maybe 15 minutes to get it just right, and then you can forget about it and just enjoy.

This fit into place on my Quest, even with the extra head strap padding installed.
The bracket pairs really really well with the anker power core. It’s almost like it was designed specifically for it. I’m really satisfied with this bracket.
There’s only two recommendation I’d make and it’s the velcro straps that come with it. They should be about 1″ to 1.5″ longer and the velcro on the straps need to cover the entire length of the strap. There’s about a 1/4″ length at each end of the strap that isn’t surfaced with velcro and when you secure the power bank these ends flail about and look kind of messy.
The design could be improved if AMVR went with a ratcheting type system for the straps where one end is fixed to the bracket and the other end is adjustable through a buckle like what you’d find on a belt or a motorcycle helmet. That way you could adjust the tension and length as required. The current setup works, but it’s not ideal. If you were to use a power bank any thicker than an anker power core, I think you’d have problems securing the straps as there just isn’t enough length.

AMVR Powerbank Fixing Bracket arrived on time with the side of the package crushed but fortunately the Bracket was un-damaged. The assembly instructions were basic. I intend to wear it around my waist and it should be okay for this but the included USB C cable is too short to connect my Anker PowerCore 26800 battery to my Quest 2 headset.

Fits perfectly on the quest headset. The only problem I’d say is it’s not comfortable to put on the strap. The plastic digs into your head. Other than that it’s a great product and the cable is magnetic so if you accidentally pull on the cable it just falls down and you can quickly and easily connect it.

Totally worth it. Fits well on the elite strap, quite snug actually. The head pad feels good. Cable, ties and straps included feel of good quality. Everything feels top notch. Hours of extended gameplay with external batteries, fits many sizes. It also tucks away nicely in my case without having to remove the cable attached. This being my first AMVR purchase, quit impressed. Highly recommend this product!

It works. I would not recommend purchasing this if you use the Elite Strap. If you use the normal soft strap the Quest 2 comes with (and probably the normal Quest strap) you should be fine
I could not get the battery attachment to sit anywhere comfortable on my head due to how high up the elite strap ends on the Quest 2. I did try to make it work but after long sessions in VR it left the top of my head hurting due to a pressure point from the attachment
