I had to do some research on silver chains that did not snag on the baby hairs at the back of your neck, and a box chain like this one was greatly suggested. Had this chain on for a week now, and not once has it pulled a hair from my head and I love it. I even wear it to bed and hair does not bundle or even touch where hook is, which is surprising for any chain that I have had.

I have bought 3 of these chains so far as I have a few pendants that I got as gifts but the original chains are too short therefore I have replaced them. So this is my go to type and length of chain which I would definitely recommend as I find this to be great value for money and just a really nice strong, but delicate chain.

I am allergic to filler metals used in silver jewelry so I have to be careful to get as pure silver as possible. I question the validity of the .925 claim for this product as it caused an allergic reaction.

This saved the day. Wife’s chain broke on her pendent 2 weeks before wedding. Got this one as it was a replica of the original. Very happy with look and quality of the chain. Only minor issue is that the brand has a little tag on the clasp which makes the chain want to eventually want to fish it’s way down to the front as can be seen in the photo. But overall not a huge issue and made her super happy.

This was for my wife who broke her last chain.
It arrived on time, was priced decently and after wearing for a few weeks, she has no complaints such as colour changing,itching etc.
Seems to be a good purchase.
UPDATE
The new chain broke after 4-5 weeks.
My wife has other necklaces where the chains have lasted years.
This is now the 3 rd broken chain on one necklace since Mother’s Day 2021.
We won’t be purchasing this product again.

The necklace is very fine and the catch is very close to the chain in size so you have to have steady hands to get it to fit. It appears to be well made but it will be a matter if time to see if it becomes tarnished.

I bought this, as a gift for my sister, to go with a pendant I had bought for her birthday. This chain did not come boxed so could have given it 4 stars, however, it is a lovely product and at a suitable price, so worthy of 5 stars. I need another one to go with the pendant I bought for myself, so I shall be ordering another one today.

This chain is perfect in everyway except one.
On my other 1mm box chain (or in fact any other necklace I have), I can do up the necklace behind my neck no problem.
Pull back the clasp lever, put the receiver ring in and push it round a bit to make sure it’s in, close the lever.
This necklace the receiver ‘ring’ isn’t round, and the hole is very narrow. In fact it’s so fiddly I had trouble doing it up right in front of me. The part on the clasp moved by the lever is about the only part that fits the receiver hole easily. It barely slides around the clasp at all, so it’s hard to feel when it’s properly engaged.
On the plus side, it’s strong like all box chains, and every section is stamped with 925, except, curiously, the name tag.
Amberto, please make the clasp a bit bigger or rounder!

I ordered a silver necklace chain to replace one that recently broke. I don’t like the way most of these day’s chains clasps work, but this one has the older style which is easier for me to use. So I am very happy with it. Thank you. Pendant with photos of my lost loved ones back around my neck where it belongs 🙂

My dog broke the chain on my necklace when she jumped up on me so I needed a replacement. Almost identical to my original chain, other than the loop, and it’s a bit thicker but it’s very beautiful and worth the price!
Update, where you put the clasp on, it broke on me a week later… it never got hooked on anything. I guess it’s okay for short term wear, but not every day wear.

I bought this chain for myself is it something to wear everyday I never take it off the colour has stayed nice it hasn’t tarnished and I wear it in the shower I’ve had no problems with it very sturdy
