Either defective or that’s the quality… Definitely returning it since it keeps it causes the camera to lose connection or flicker. Tried the camera directly and works flawlessly (Logitech e930) connected to the extension and it start going crazy and the video keeps shopping and the quality of the picture is horrible… Not sure why but definitely returning it.
Too bad since I really needed it in order to be able to use my camera for zoom meetings

I give these 3 stars because that’s about how many worked as intended. I bought a bunch of them and two don’t transfer data fast enough of something. I use them for using my nikon d500 with sparkocam and it’ll lose the signal. I’m not sure if the issue is related to length. When I swap out to another kind I noticed my image is smoother with less jitter or dropped frames. Don’t ask me why this happens but it does.

Not sure why I can rate the camera quality of a USB extension but okay then amazon.
The cord itself works fine. However, it can and will easily get bent right at the USB metal part. The “male” end. I also had the housing for the part detach and require either tape or glue to hold.
Would I buy it still knowing this? Yes. Can’t complain too much as you get what you pay for sometimes.

This is a sturdy, well-made cable and is much thicker than I was expecting. Data transfer is fine, as is normal charging.
Ive tried this for raspberry pi 3b+ power using a 2.5a power supply and it works fine.
Do note that, due to the length and subsequent voltage drop, this won’t allow fast charging on Samsung phones with the standard charger.
I’m more than happy with this for my purposes

Compré unos cuantos cables extensores USB 3.0 para extender mis periféricos dado que quería cambiar de sitio el ordenador y me iban muy justos.
En otras ocasiones probé otros cables similares pero de la marca Ugreen y no me dieron buen resultado , estos de Amazon basics funcionan perfectos en mi caso los cogí de 3 metros y no tengo ningún tipo de perdida ni bajada de rendimiento.
El cable viene con las terminaciones cromadas en oro para mejorar su conexión y es de lo mas barato que he encontrado en amazon.
Recomiendo estos cables 100% ningún problema .

J’ai eu l’occasion de mesurer précisément les temps de transit, l’affaiblissement du signal et la bande passante de ces rallonges, et le résultat est qu’elles ne respectent pas les spécifications de la norme USB3. Si vous êtes d’accords pour payer plus chères des rallonges USB2 au prix de l’USB3, ces rallonges AmazonBasics vous raviront à merveille ! Dans tout les cas il s’agit d’une tromperie.

I purchased this USB Extension Cable for use with 3x Seagate 8TB “Backup Plus Hub” external hard drives. My experience so far:
– Cables are thick.
– Cables maintain good contact with cable from another device – no annoying “disconnection” when you are in the middle of copying files.
– Cables maintain transfer speeds – I did not notice a reduction in speeds when using this cable (my primary use of external hard drives is to store large Virtual Machines and movie files ripped from my own Blu-ray discs).
– Cables are sturdy and heat resistant. I have run them across the floor, behind my desk…not far from a UPS battery backup system that runs a bit warm. No issues.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED product. You could pay more for another brand, but why? These cables are tough, perform and are an excellent value.

Great cable, durable and thick. I bought this to extend the range of my Windows MR headset, but unfortunately it doesn’t work right (Microsofts problem, not the cable). You’ll get about 3 minutes of sound, than it literally blasts max volume whitenoise/static into your ears, basically non stop. However, if you somehow use your PC as the source of sound, rather then the headsets audio jack, you’ll probably be fine. No issues with video, or tracking, just the audio.

These are pretty much my go-to cables. They seem bullet proof all the time – data just flows through them like water through a hose and I have to encounter any problems at all with them.
I have daisy-chained them before as well, admittedly only out of curiosity to see if it would work. I joined two of these three metre cables up with two other shorter ones and data still flowed perfectly. No glitches. No obvious speed lag (mind, they were all all the same USB3 cables, and none were USB2).
Oh! And I’ve stomped on the actual connections a couple of times as well, and cables have forgiven me for that, too. So good stuff.

the cable has a somewhat novel adaptability: They feel overall quite delicate to the hand, and they will bend and circle fine and dandy on the off chance that you need them to, however there is a touch of firmness that causes them to lean toward straight (or all the more tenderly bended) runs. I’m amazed the amount of an advantage this had. To begin with, it shielded them from tangling. It likewise helped me run the link where I needed to, since they’re not very limp to fish through restricted spots. At last, they look incredible: They don’t have wrinkles or clasps. They run easily from highlight point. I never acknowledged how much my old plastic sheathed cabled sucked previously.

I was expecting a basic USB cable when I was trying to extend my LED cable in my car, until I have come to realize that it does not work properly, nor does it work all the time. Like when the LEDs do light up, they do not respond to the remote sometimes, so I have no control over it ( maybe its due to the rate of transfer). However, it does work on most times that I plug it in, and in terms of length it was pretty accurate, I have actually measured it. Overall, it can be great for those that do not need to completely depend on it, but who knows it maybe different for you.

I have my MacBook Pro on a monitor arm (Ergotron with three sections) notebook mount and wanted to run more than what my old USB 2.0 extension could handle so this worked great as almost 4ft of it is used in just running from the MBP to the desk through the arms.
Excellent value for the length.
Unsure why they want me to rate the camera quality, I have found no camera in the cable…… yet.
