The strap to slip over other suitcases is a great feature!
The quality, durability and zippers are great.
It seems a bit large overall for items stored in one direction so with some sewing ability,
I sewed on 4 black webbed loops at the opposite (bottom end of the bag) and then was able to take
more garments laying in two directions. Garments arrived pretty much without wrinkles.
After using a bi-fold garment bag, I have ordered a tri-fold bag hoping that it is less bulky and more
useful for carry-on purposes. This makes a great car bag as it can be either zipped up folded or left
zipped up and laying out flat.

This thing is so darn handy! I work in film and tv so I am always going to different sets and traveling in crowded shuttle vans. This holds all the wardrobe changes I need and there’s still room for a blanket, knitting/books, makeup, shoes, small props etc. For fellow short people, I am 5’4″ and worried that it would be too long and drag on the ground when held at my side with my arm straight, but that isn’t an issue at all.

I really really really wanted to enjoy this suit carrier. I ve used it several times now. It does not does not keep your suite and shirt wrinkle free like the non fold over suit carriers (cost of convenience). It can hold a suit and has room for ties, belts, shoes, socks, pens ect. Its not super light, the zipper metal or whichever it is, is cheap and have to be mindful to be gentler when closing the zipper. The bag does look nice though, just not super pleased with the fold over and straps that hold the suit when its folded in half since they lead to creasing. Try best you can to fold the suit in the straps so you can avoid any creasing as much as you can. or if you can have the suite carrier full length and not folded.

This bag provides ample room for shirts, pants and even a sport jacket, all of which I took on a recent trip. I would recommend this bag to anyone who is looking for a light-weight travel bag that has many practical features. The carrying handles as well as shoulder strap make for comfortable carrying as well as the option of keeping hands free for other pieces of luggage.

I don’t often write product reviews but felt compelled to thank whoever produced this garment bag for Amazon for doing a great job. I used it recently on a long train journey involving a trip across London on the tube. The bag is sturdy and took 4 suites very comfortably. Two of those suits were heavy wool ones with waistcoats, so the bag would easily cope with 4 normal suits. I also managed to pack a pair of shoes, three ties, five shirts and spare belt, and still did not fill the bag. The other benefit is that you can keep the suits you are not wearing hung up in the bag in your wardrobe, which makes packing and checking much less stressful. Well done Amazon on such a great product.

This bag was a last minute purchase for a business trip. I was able to keep two suits, shoes and shirts in it as part of my carry on. It was lightweight and easily fit in the overhead bin if the plane. My clothing was essentially wrinkle free on arrival which included 2 different players and a long layover. Highly recommend.

Traveled with this just recently and used it for a suit and other dress clothes (pants, shirts). As it isn’t a hard case, was worried that it would just get crushed by the airline and the clothes completely creased (I checked the bag). Turned out not a single crease and it kept my clothes in great condition. It is lightweight, which is a great bonus, so you aren’t lugging around something heavy either. I was able to fit a substantial amount of clothes in, and was impressed all around. Definitely recommend this, and given the price point, it is great value.

As I said appears to be an ideal choice, but as I haven’t yet used it I cannot say if the clothes “travel” crease free, but certainly it has the the capacity to hold, for me at least, a dinner suit, a pair of trousers, two shirts, two pair of shoes and many accessories. The big test next week!

I last purchased a suit carrier around 1999 – and it showed! It’s dark green material and light brown leather hadn’t aged particularly well and when recently using the case travelling, it managed to draw some light ribbing from my companions. Being a bit tatty, with a side of mild abuse I decided it was time to replace, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Enter the Amazon Basics Premium Garment bag.
At around £30 – the price was right, it looked okay (certianly better than its 20 year old Green and Brown predecessor) so I ordered. Arrival was prompt as always and the case was impressive. It’s lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap or that it would be easily damaged. Lots of compartments and decent space.
It’s first trip would a week away that would require a suit for a day or so and then some casual wear. It happily accommodated the suit, two shirts, tie, a pair of shoes, small washing bag, jeans, some t-shirts as well as pants/socks for the week. It was a tight-ish fit, but there was no wrestling with the zip to get it closed and whilst a fair bit bulkier than before, everything fit.
The one downside of overloading the bag a tad was that the shoulder strap dug in more than was comfortable. Under a more reasonable load I’m sure it would operate fine, however in this case I had a red shoulder for a few days after my trip.
For the money, you can’t go wrong, looks decent and performs well. Very happy.

For the price this garment bag is perfect. It will carry up to three hung garments and has plenty of pockets for shoes, shirts, accessories etc. I particularly like the side zipped pocket for putting smaller items such as pens, cards, phone charger etc – a nice feature. The external material is of a pretty robust construction. Well pleased.

This bag was perfect for my recent trip to America. I needed to transport my wedding dress and accessories as cabin luggage and the size of this carrier was permitted on the airline I travelled with. There was plenty of room for my shoes, dress (not a big meringue type dress but quite long), small solid sided handbag and my husband’s shirt. Could have got lots more in (and did on the return journey). The bag is lightweight to start with which is helpful. Plenty of different pockets to hep organise and keep things separate. I like the fact that you can slot at least two coat hangers in the top. They don’t poke out of the top of the bag whilst travelling but, when the bag is open, you can hang it from the hangers very easily. I also like the soft bar across the middle and the restraining strap. A very well designed bag and i’m sure I will get plenty of use out of it. It would hold enough for a short break without any problem. I spent a long time researching other bags before I settled on this one and I am very glad I did.
