Actually it’s a fantastic bag! Not leather or anything, but that doesn’t really matter. I returned it but only because I needed a much larger bag and thought this was going to be enough. I shoot with a 70-200 and a 50 prime and like to bring a single speedlight with me. Unfortunately, though this bag was big enough for the body, the 50, and the speedlight, it wasn’t big enough to accommodate my 70-200 and that’s why I decided to get something larger. If you only have one lens, a body, a light and some cleaning products with you though, this is a great bag to use!

First impressions are that it is exactly what I was hoping for/expecting.

I was looking for a smaller, portable bag for my lenses, to free up space in my main camera bag. I also wanted something that would hold several lenses and allow me quick and easy access to it on the rare occasions I need to run and gun. This fits the bill nicely. Easily holds four lenses, with room for either a small dslr body, monitor, video light, or even a 5th lens. Also has several additional pockets/pouches for cables, batteries, filters etc.

Holds it’s form and seems durable enough for my purposes. I noticed some have criticized it for it’s size (one way or another), which seems more an issue of misguided expectations then a valid criticism – the listing portrays the size clearly and accurately.

FWIW I’ve only just received the bag, so haven’t used it extensively, however, all in all I’d say it exceeded my expectations for what I’d get at this price point.

As you can see from the pictures this bag is very well designed and fabricated. The build quality is excellent as is the overall look and finish
The bag has 2 straps to secure the ‘lid’ closed rather than the more common and cheaper version with only 1.
There are, as well, Velcro patches under the cover which help secure the lid down against the closed bag…in other words there is a double lid on the bag.
The lid, as well has a zippered pocket and there are pockets on the front ( full width ) and each side, as well as one on the inside of the lid.
Inside the bag there are compartments created by movable Velcroed panels and a tablet-sized pouch at the back of the bag interior.
All in all this is one of the best designed bags I have ever owned and it is easily roomy enough for a DSLR, Battery and charger and at least 1 lens…perhaps 2, not to mention the side pockets which will hold filters, cleaning tools , remote etc.
Well worth the asking price and I could hardly wait until mine arrived.

I have had this bag for almost 10 months now and I am really pleased with it. I am studying photography and also a mom of two. On top of the usual lugging around this bag has survived 10 months of dodging a very eager now 1 1/2 year old (She really wants my camera) and a 7 year old camera lover. It has also survived trips out with a pushchair, nappy bag, child bag, handbag and the kitchen sink and has been the least hassle in those circumstances. I now keep (all cannon) a 50mm attached to DSLR, a 18-55mm, a 55-250mm & my battery charger in the main pocket which all fit perfectly and has the room to rearrange to fit another lens. I don’t use the other pockets much, I keep my strap in the top mesh pocket with room to spare, in the front pocket I keep a wire that I never use and 1 foam divider that I don’t use with loads of spare lonely space and the side pockets are usually empty but I sometimes put my phone in 1. I think it is safe to say that it is spacious :). The material is good sturdy quality and the padding is thick & firm. I can’t comment on the tripod straps. I have not experienced any squeaking like some other reviews have. The zips are nice and smooth and the clips are nice to use (not stiff or sharp). The seams are still in the same great condition they were on arrival even after 10 months. I honestly think this bag will last a very long time and if not, I would gladly buy again!

I was looking for something a bit smaller than my Thinktank Retrospective 20 to house a couple of Fuji bodies and a couple of spare lenses for a recent trip to York. I’m finding more and more places are having bag size restrictions these days, the Jorvik Centre being one of them. This bag was well within their stated size limit (38cm x 30cm). At least they show the maximum size on their web site so you know before you get there (though I was thinking “so 38cm x 30cm x 300cm is ok??”).

I was impressed with the construction of this bag for the price (£20 when purchased in November 2017). The stitching all seems to be robust and the zips feel like they’ll last well enough. Good storage options with the usual velcro dividers for the main compartment. Plenty of pockets and flaps to stuff your bits and pieces like filters, lens cloth, mini tripod, cables etc and there is space for a 7″ tablet in the main compartment. Protection from knocks and bumps is fine and the fabric used would keep a light shower from getting into your kit.

So now we have to move to the shoulder strap or more accurately the fastenings of the shoulder strap. The actual strap is fine. The lugs used to mount the strap to the bag squeak incessantly. I had read reviews here mentioning a creaking sound before I purchased, I thought “how bad can it really be?”. Well, with my bag it sounded like a flock of Canada geese honking with every step I took. This became embarrassing. I was in York for 4 nights so I had to stick it out. The worst of it was in York Minster – it felt like I could be heard all over the building. I went down into the crypt and one of the guides they have watching over things told me she could hear me from around the corner. I popped back in later in the week and the same guide spoke to me again saying that she remembered me by my creaking camera bag! We had a laugh about it but this does illustrate just how loud this is, especially in a quiet place.

All that said I think I like the bag enough to explore ways of fixing the noise. It’s the plastic on plastic of the fastenings that is making the noise. Maybe I can find a spare shoulder strap with metal fastenings, although that would then probably wear through the plastic fastenings on the actual bag.

Of course none of the above comes into play if you just carry the bag by hand. I was finding myself using the shoulder strap but lifting the bag with my hand tucked under it – anything to stop the noise – but you really shouldn’t have to do that.

So three stars… Would certainly be a resounding five stars if not for the creaking noises from the strap. If Amazon can put together this bag with metal fixings for the straps at a similar price point (make it £25, if that’s what it takes) then I’d dive in to buy another. It’s a very useful size of camera bag. Meanwhile I will look into a DIY solution and also possibly make use of it carrying by the handles.

I’m a huge fan of the AmazonBasics range, with one disclaimer: the shoulder straps are cheap and uncomfortable. This is a problem with most budget bags, solved in my case by a £5 replacement with metal swivel connectors and a comfortable shoulder pad (this one

). OK, that aside, what’s this bag like? Pretty much perfect is the correct response. Provided, that is, you are after a small camera kit bag rather than lugging everything and the kitchen sink with you. I’m a journalist and as you can see from the attached image, the bag happily consumes my Lumix FZ330, flashgun, battery charger and enough batteries to power a small village, voice recorder, 10.2″ Chromebook (just, a very tight squeeze that one) and cleaning kit etc. I like that the inner bag has a zipped top to which the outer lid attaches and thus provides better weatherproofing. Plenty of pockets for bits and bobs, sturdy straps to attach a tripod, strong padded carrying handle. It’s not the same uber-quality that you’ll find in a Lowepro kitbag but then it doesn’t require selling your organs to afford one either (and it’s actually *very* good build quality as it happens).

I purchased this bag to replace an older and much smaller bag. This one is perfect! It is currently holding my 18-55mm & 55-300mm lenses, camera, charger, extras and there’s still a decent amount of room for another lens. I really love that the bag has removable foam inserts inside, so you can change everything around to fit better. There’s also lots of extra compartments to hold extra stuff like cables, batteries, cards etc..I love that it also has a spot to hold an iPad. Lots of padding inside and out, so you know your camera equipment is safe.
Another feature I love is that it has a handle on the top, which makes it a little easier to carry around. This is definitely a quality bag, and I would not hesitate to purchase again.

Great camera bag for anyone. Holds a lot and had multi-functions all around. Quality is fantastic. Bought this as a gift for my brother who’s starting to progress with his filming. This should be great for him. Has many modular pieces for the inside,

Great camera bag for anyone who needs to hold a lot in one bag. Has loops in the bottom to carry a tripod/monopod or whatever else you’d like. Also has 2 side saddle pockets on either side which are about the size of Samsung Galaxy series phone with tons of wiggle room. Comes with a shoulder strap that is detachable and a short handle with a grip wrap. When you unbuckle it from the front, there’s a velcro bottom to attach to the main portion of the camera bag. The interior has a multifunctional (velcro) walls that can be moved. Makes about maximum 6 compartments inside. It also fits an iPad/tablet (has a slot inside the interior). There are a ton of multi-use pockets which are fantastic for someone who’s traveling. The interior is well padded and the interior has a good exterior that seems like it is water resistant (not waterproof). The body material seems like it can be sprayed with a waterproof coating.

As a “budget” bag, I have to say that the material is really solid, and I can see it lasting a long time. The huge problem is the hooks of the strap—they make so much noise when you walk! They squeak like crazy and it makes everyone turn their head on the street.

Also, this bag is SMALL. I have Sony A7 III, Voigtlander Nokton 40mm 1.2 and FE 28, and I couldn’t fit them all in the bag. My kit isn’t the most compact but it definitely isn’t large by any means. This is way too small of a bag to be considered “Large.”

Probably the most important thing you need to know about a camera bag is its internal size – without this it’s impossible to know if your kit will fit in. So it’s really frustrating when the internal dimensions aren’t given in the product description. It’s also confusing when more than one product size is covered by the reviews and Q&As, because then you don’t know which product any comments apply to.

I tried to get a clear answer to the question of the internal dimension of the large bag without success, so I took a punt and ordered one. It turned out too small so I had to return it, but not before measuring the inside so I could add the information here. So, the internal dimensions of the LARGE bag are width: 25cm, depth (front to back): 12cm, height: 17cm. The bag is soft and flexible, so you can add a cm or two of wriggle room to these.

The bag looks to be of good quality for the money, and if it had been the right size for me I would happily have kept it. That I knocked one star of the rating isn’t down to the bag itself, but the lack of important information about the product and the fact that I had to go through the fuss of ordering it so I could find it out.
