I’m doing a massive reorganisation of my belongings as I’m adopting a minimalist lifestyle. I already donated 90% of my clothes, while replacing some clothing items.
I was looking at some nice long-sleeve henley shirt and stumbled upon AmazonEssential’s
I bought a medium size as I heard they shrink a bit when processed in a dryer, I’ll have to see how much mine will shrink (usually wear small size)
The construction is really really good. I don’t understand the (few) negative reviews about the quality. It feels premium and it looks really really good!
I’m gonna replace my remaining long sleeve clothing items with those amazon essentials henley shirts – gonna buy 2-3 other colours, they are definitely worth it!

I thought I would order this shirt after ordering and liking the Amazon Essentials Men’s Slim-Fit Long-Sleeve Pocket T-Shirt. I am 6′ and 180 lbs, and I ordered the medium in both style of shirts. This one fits me perfectly just like the other. It washes nicely. I did not put it in the dryer. The fabric is thick and soft with a bit of stretch. You can’t beat the price – I got mine on sale. Great product from Amazon Essentials!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this Henley. The fabric and fit are that of a much more expensive jersey. The colour is much more betterer in the flesh too… I feel like a million dollars.

Nothing really stands out with this. It is a simple sweat shirt and it feels alright. I found it shrunk more in the wash then expected but still fits well I would simply advise getting one size up from your usual unless you want a tighter fit.

These are great. Very comfortable and durable though slightly thicker for summer. Still good choice for evening, night, work or more formal occasions looking sleek! I followed the advice of people on site and bought 1 size larger and worked out well. I have to see how much is gonna shrink on cold water but I never tumble dry and so it should be okay.
Keep it simple –
Good value. I had to give mine a good stretch around the
chest and it was fine. Perfect for relaxing around the house.
The henley t offers pure comfort while the button neck adds more
interest than your typical t-shirt. Plus, they’re the ultimate layering
pieces. Get a darker tone for a smarter and slimmer look!

This is a nice quality product but the medium was quite tight for my 40″ chest – I can happily wear a 38″ M&S jacket so I would suggest you upsize. I returned the other one.

I am 6’3 – 195lbs and often times one brand will fit me XL while another L, for this shirt the large fits perfect. So if you are in between sizes maybe go downward. Overall the shirt is pretty good, the material is fairly thick and comfy and the shape isnt boxy. However, this shirt for whatever reason just looks like a pajama shirt, so i tend not to wear it as often as i want, mainly just use it when i combine it with a coat.

I do a lot of sports so have a V shape body,when I buy henleys they are usually too tight or way too boxy with no stretch.These are perfect compromise.Has a bit of stretch,nice slim look and the fabric is somewhat thick.Length is good,Im about 173cm and weigh 70kg and this henley fits great.Maybe a tad too long but it will shrink.

Ordered an xl for my husband as that’s his typical size and it was too small and had to send back. Quality was decent though, the price is good. If buying I would recommend sizing up!

Great quality, fit, feel and price. Purchased this as a lounge top for my husband and it fits great giving him plenty of room. He loves that the sleeves length is generous. I ordered a size up in the hope it would be loose fitting and surprisingly had I ordered his actual size he still would have had a little bit of room because these are obviously true to size which is a rare thing to find with clothing, especially so on Amazon. Great item!

Very nice quality thicker cotton henley. Soft I might add. The black is not the deepest black out there I can see it fading. I purchased an XL as this usually fits a woman’s 2x. I figured I could give it to my brother who wears XL if something was off. However it fits tight but ok for me unless it shrinks that it will turn into a bambino crop top. No thank you. So for my brother who wears XL, he would need a XXXL especially if it shrinks. And I guess I would too, but sizes cut off at XL. So he would have to go up 2 sizes than usual factoring shrinkage and comfort.
They definitely run small but if you want a fitted shirt to wear under shirts, hoodies or just because you wear tight shirts, then it’s good for you. If you want some slack, and nothing form fitting, look for bigger than XL. If I find this model in bigger sizes in another listing, I might return it and swap it iut and order a bunch.
