Like many of you, 2020 has been the year of the home office. Or at least, it would be, if I ever got out of bed. Luckily, I haven’t had to turn my camera on for any of my zoom meetings, so I just lay in bed with my dog. But we live in Canada, and I live in a basement slum. This means it is extra cold, and I needed a nice, soft, comfortable sweater. I’m saving up to buy a bag of avocados in late 2021, so I couldn’t afford a fancy sweater – Amazon Basics coming in clutch, yet again. I slide this over my curves and nestled into my blankets. I was toasty warm, and fell asleep during a meeting. The sweater is fantastic – just don’t tell my boss.

To my surprise it came with a free, used Mask in the pouch. At first, I thought it was a free, new mask then quickly realized the sweat stains on the mask and slightly stained areas of the ear bands. I was extremely happy to know that the employee that created my hoody was provided protection from COVID-19 in the workplace.
My fiancée and I had a really good laugh when I first tried the hoody on and pulled the mask out of the pouch. Since then we have washed the mask and now use it for a variety of different fashions.
She uses it like the Amish do to hold her hair tight while in a bun.
I sometimes use it to as a pouch to hold my peanut shells.
I often use it as a banana hammock.
Thank you very much to the seller for including this surprise gift. It has been life changing.

As many girls do, I love to wear my boyfriend’s hoodies. Well, I’m single now (he couldn’t handle my awesomeness apparently). I found myself hoodie-less and sad, the real tragedy of the breakup. So I bought this in a size large and am happy again!
Ladies, do we really need a man when we have each other and oversized hoodies? #grlpwr

I was apprehensive if this would fit me since the reviews were all over the place. I am 5’10” and have 39inch chest and 33inch waist. I ordered Small size and it fitted me perfectly. The material is cosy and warm, not too thick, not too thin. Just perfect.

Like the model in the photos, I am also 6’2″ and normally wear a size medium. I purchased the medium and the arms were way too short, but the torso area was exactly what I was looking for. I returned it for a large and while the sleeves were longer, they are still too short for me and the torso area is starting to be too big. I will not return it a second time to try the extra large size because that will for sure not fit my medium-sized torso.
It’s a pity they don’t make the sleeves longer for tall people. I don’t really believe the model can be the same size and height as me and have the sleeves appear so long in the photos. Otherwise, I would have really liked this sweatshirt.

I’ve ordered sweaters from Amazon essentials before and they’ve been great quality. This hoodie is no exception. The cuffs are flexible but retain shape, the fabric is very soft but doesn’t stretch out of shape.
I had one issue with this hoodie, the clothing tag on the nape was not properly sewn and it had edges that stuck out so I had to remove the label and tag with a seam ripper. It’s perfectly comfortable now, though.

I was on the hunt for an oversized women’s hoodie on Amazon. A lot of the ones advertised were priced higher and had mixed reviews.
I then just decided to try my luck and see what hoodies were available in general. That’s when I came across this & noticed other girls getting these too (from the photos of 2 girls wearing these in Black & the funny comment of the other girl who bought this after her breakup). Judging from those photos & their description, they chose large and seemed oversized enough. However, I didn’t want to take the chance as I wanted to feel as if I was cocooned in fuzz & warmth; I went with XL.
I’ve washed it once since it arrived and 1st impressions were that it was
1) thicccc-k…
2) decent fabric quality (comparable if not equal to my branded $$ hoodies)
3) pockets also lined with floof goodness,
4) colour could be a wee bit more vivid or intense (in-person, more of a Mustard/Marigold mix).
Fit-wise: what I had hoped for!! Past my hips 😀 For reference, I’m: 164cm/5’4″ and around Medium in most clothes (large if the cuts smaller, if you know what I mean ladies). The only thing I will nitpick on is the size of the neck-hole (? Collar? Neckline?) is a bit smaller & sits higher up. First time putting it on felt as if I had a fat head, but guess this will keep the decolletage area warm 😀
Going to plan to buy more in the future in the zipped version too and maybe mix up the sizes a bit! Love it for the value & pray that Amazon will keep both the quality & price point forever!

MY SON IS ONLY 5’5 120 POUNDS THE MODEL THEY SHOWED IN THE PICTURE WAS OVER 6′ WEARING A MEDIUM. SO WE GOT THE SMALL AND I HAVE TO SAY WE SHOULD OF WENT WITH THE MEDIUM. HOWEVER THE BODY OF THE TOP IS SMALL BUT ARMS ARE LOOSE. IT SEEMS LIKE IT IS QUALITY BUT WORRIED ABOUT IT SHRINKING AND GETTING TIGHTER. HOWEVER MY SON DECIDED TO KEEP IT. I WAS A LITTLE ANNOYED BECAUSE IN A COUPLE OF MONTHS IT MAY NOT FIT AS WELL. KEEP SIZING IN MIND!

SUPER SOFT, SUPER COMFY!! I bought two in medium size to add an iron on design for a Disney trip. The iron on design has stayed on both sweaters after multiple washes (so if you’re looking to do a design on this sweater, it’ll work great!). Even though it’s a “men’s” sweater it fits women just fine, no issues with the area around the chest (coming from two chesty girls it was nice and roomy). Neither sweater shrank when put through the dryer multiple times. The sweaters are so extremely soft on the inside and the black colour is a good deep black (haven’t had an issue “matching” the black on the sweater to the black of pants/leggings/shorts) and hasn’t faded. They’re the perfect amount of warmth -wore them in Florida in January when it was cold at night/early morning and I’m Canada during the winter too, always keeping me comfortably warm. I bought them after reading a review from a girl about how it’s the perfect guy sweater to buy after breaking up with her ex (which was the best amazon review ever LOL) and she wasn’t wrong: BEST sweater!!

I’m 6’2″ and 230lbs, a muscular/fat build. Large shoulders and chest but still a good ol’ spare tire too
Hood has lining and two seams which is nice, pocket has deep sides to it. The arms are a perfect length, the body ends right around my belt line. A little shorter than comfy style but certainly fits in with a modern fashion look.

For the ladies looking for a looser fitted hoodie then the XL will fit a women’s UK 16. The arms are a tad long. I’m the biggest I’ve been at a size 14 up top, 16/18 below and I’m 5ft 8 inches tall. So i was looking for a loose fitting hoodie to hide all the gluttony prior to starting my workout. So if you are a 14 bottom I’d go for Large and medium if you are a 12. Great quality once again from Amazon. My photos show the hoodie being a bit more pinky than in real life. Hoodie a tad more salmon than photo shows. Did this review help?
