The Bored Consumer –
these things are like the big, old man baggy chinos you see all the old men wearing in the movies with the waistband hoiked up to their nipples. They are not suitable for a younger man unless maybe you are going for that look.
I imagine of these actually reflected the size they have on the label they would probably fit a bit better. the 34 I bought fits more like a 36. Maybe go a size down and they will be less bad.
Build quality and materials seem good for the price though, on par with other brands at this price point.

Very comfortable, and fit perfectly, I arrived in Vancouver in January from Tropical Climate. They came quickly and fit was perfect, and very comfortable at a great price.

Pants are better quality than I expected for an Amazon essentials product. It’s slightly bigger than size, but that’s good since it might shrink a bit with washes, so don’t order bigger than what you need. The only negative is the pockets are not very deep so my smartphone peeks out about half an inch, but keys and wallet are fine.

Great trousers, but I had to get 33w trousers as the 34w was too big. I usually buy 34w athletic fit or 36w normal fit, so you can use this to guide your selection. For the price, you can’t go better than these. They are just as good as GAP athletic fit khakis, but for a fraction of the price. I’ll be stock-piling these !!

The Amazon Essentials clothing I’ve purchased has been of very good quality for the price. The athletic fit pants are great for those who like a bit of breathing room in the leg. What I also like is you can choose from a wide range of waist and inseam measurements.

Purchased three pairs of these trousers for a work trip, for which I wanted something economical and practical. These were very comfortable, coming up perhaps a little wide thanks to the fit. For the price I absolutely can’t complain and they did exactly what I needed them to. As for longevity I haven’t had them or washed them enough yet but they certainly haven’t suffered any issues in the short term. Very happy with this purchase and will probably buy them again if I need a different size.

JUST RECEIVED THESE PANTS TODAY SIZE 36/28 AND I NEVER GOT A PAIR OF PANTS THAT FIT ME PERFECT AS THESE . I WOULD RECOMEND THESE TO ANYONE . I JUST ORDERED ANOTHER PAIR IN DIFFERENT COLOR BEFORE THERE SOLD OUT -)

I needed a pair of trousers temporarily because of a waistline problem!! Provided my diet works I should be back in my normal size in the future but in the meantime I needed something in the next size up. Hence the decision to purchase a budget item. To be honest, at the price, I did not expect anything great. However, upon receipt I was very pleasantly surprised. These trousers are manufactured to a high quality, the material is comfortable and seems durable but reasonably light. The fit (35×29) is exactly what I expected and style is as good as any fancy labelled product. I am so happy with my purchase I intend putting in an order for another pair in a different colour.

It has great stretch and a comfortable seat and waist. Since it’s an athletic fit it’s great if your on the husky side. But I still like having a modern/tapered hem at the end of the pant leg and this doesn’t have it. Debating if I’ll get the pants altered or not.

These Chinos are more like a straight fit, not athletic fit, you could even go as far as loose fit. The legs are wide all the way down the leg, the bottom leg width measures a whopping 22cm. I’m not sure how athletic you have to be to wear these Chinos, but you really do need to have huge legs.
