Amazon Basics Fully-Encased Waterproof Mattress Cover Protector, Full, Standard 12 to 18-Inch Depth

Es el segundo que compro, compré anteriormente el individual y ahora en matrimonial. Se adapta muy bien al colchón y lo protege por arriba y abajo, pues es una funda donde se mete el colchón y trae un cierre para asegurarlo bien.
Es impermeable.
Muchos comentarios dicen que lo sienten muy caliente, no me parece, a pesar que vivo en un lugar demasiado caluroso.
Tampoco hace ruido al moverse uno en la cama, he tenido otros forros similares a este, de otras marcas, y este es el que más me ha gustado.

Ordered 2, each had a different fabric material, but same packaging. The first to arrive, loved it soft light cotton feel. The second arrived , plastic slippery fabric. Although it’s still quality product, it should be the same consistent product not a surprise bag.

I had bought at least 4 different brands and styles of mattress protection covers due to airbnb needs and experiences (stains from blood, coffee and other unwelcome bugs.. you name it). While one of the brands stood out in performance, against all above-stated stains, it doesn’t have the right size for my new mattress and I hate the saggy-baggy feeling my last protection cover to my mattress.

I stumbled upon Amazon Basics line offering mattress cover now and thought I’d give it a trial since in my experience it was always of great quality. While I haven’t get to try the waterproofing ability and couldn’t vouch for that part, it’s a great snug fit to my new mattress and a great feeling on the skin. You won’t feel too hot sleeping on it nor one of those strange plastic-y feelings. I think it passed the comfort and thickness test for the past few nights.

I did have my cat peed in my bed once to my last mattress but I’m hoping I will never have to use that waterproof function. Yet if it happened again I’ll give an update if this protection cover stands out too!

This is perfect as I have a mattress that is only 6 inches and have a foam pad on top. This is the only mattress cover I have found that is not too big. It is excellent quality and washes well and quiet no wrinkle sounds.

Es un buen producto, cuesta lo que vale, no hace ruido, tiene una capa delgada de un material (tipo plástico) que impide el paso de líquidos al colchón (ya lo comprobé), lo único que puedo decir en su contra es que
la tela se siente caliente, cosa que ya había leído en comentarios anteriores pero es obvió que necesitas otro par de sabanas más y con eso queda solucionado el detalle. La verdad vale mucho la pena protegerlo con este protector, no se arrepentirán 🙂

El producto es tal cual aparece en la publicación, lo compre por qué tengo un serio problema con estos animalitos (chinches) leí en la publicación que puede evitar que estos insectos salgan del colchón cubriéndolo con este producto. Cabe mencionar que como en las fotos que le tome se ve que no queda justo ya que mi colchón tiene bastante tiempo y va perdiendo su forma pero estoy seguro que en un colchón nuevo quedaría justo, no recomiendo dormir directamente en el ya que no es nada suave Actualizaré está reseña en un mes para ver si realmente funciona.

Purchased this for our guest room bed. Came just in time for my sister and her boyfriend to come visit. I hadn’t seen my sister in about 3 years and finally met her boyfriend of 3 years. They met on hellocupid. He was quite full of himself and crass and was quite rude to me in my own home. Despite my sister’s poor choice in men, I got through their week long visit painfully because I really just wanted to see my sister. A couple days before they left I remember a morning where my sister’s boyfriend woke up and came out of the guest room and said “why are my shorts all wet?!”. I jokingly said “what, did you wet the bed?!!”. He replied, “No way”. He promptly went into the guest room and came back out with new shorts. Fast forward to the day they left… said goodbyes to my sister and shed a tear knowing it would probably be another 3 years until I see her again since her beast of a boyfriend is no longer welcome in my home. My sister quickly said thanks for the stay and apologized that the bed was kind of a mess. I thought that was strange but assured her it was no problem because I was going to wash all the sheets anyway. Went into the guest room after they left to see a neatly made bed (how cute, but why’d she say it was a mess?!). Pulled off the quilt and uncovered the largest grown man sized pee stain on the sheets. First of all, his mama must not have taught him to sleep UNDER the top sheet, but also she clearly failed at potty training him. Who in the grown drunken night before man without proper home training heck. This grown man whom she found on an online dating site and she has managed to put up with secretly bed wetting drunk for 3 years. I just can’t. Texted her and asked her if loser man wet the bed and she confirmed and apologized. They slept in it for two more nights after it happened?!?! How are they still dating?!?! I wouldve been like “sorry, I only date potty trained men” and then taken a flight home. How is that not a deal breaker for my sister?! I want to know how often this happens. Weekly? Only when he’s drunk? Or when he misses his mommy? Y’all help me. Anyway, my point of this review is that I burned the sheets, but this waterproof mattress cover saved our brand new mattress from the bed wetting man child. The amount of urine covered the entire bed almost, and this cover held it out like a champ. Washed really easily and no more pee stain or smell. You’d never know it happened. Now off to buy new sheets and file a restraining order.

**update**: My sister broke up with him! She told me the bed wetting was a common thing when he drinks. (She has since highered her standards, thankfully.) This mattress cover, however, is still going strong. I’m sure it will last longer than their relationship did.
