The slide show runs a couple of times. I turn away and come back, the frame is stuck on one particular photo. I restarted it and tried again. Slide show runs, and then gets stuck…on the same photo. I think there is a technical issue here. Item is a very light plastic. I wouldn’t recommend at all for gifts because it just feels cheap.

Le hubiera dado 5 estrellas si hubiera tenido la posibilidad de mostrar las fotos en orden aleatorio, pero hace esto en orden alfabético según el nombre de los archivos. La interfaz de opciones es muy sencilla pero funcional, pudiera ser mejor. El precio es bueno por lo que se recibe. La calidad de imagen es buena y las fotos se pueden escalar sin problema (por algún motivo no escala las fotos en vertical). Actualizaré la evaluación si hay algún detalle más adelante.

I bought this as a christmas gift and spent a ton of time getting the pictures together and today went to upload them to the digital frame. The digital frame didn’t come with a USB 2.0 cable (they’re surprisingly hard to find), so I had to go to the store to get one and come back. When I tried to connect the USB to the frame it didn’t work (I’ve tested the adapter, so I know it’s the frame that sucks). So I now am stuck with having to go buy a frame in store at a much higher price because these idiots can’t make a product that works or include the parts it should come with.
Wasted my time AND money. Will definitely be returning.

El unico inconveniente es que a la hora de querer reproducir video y fotos al mismo tiempo no se puede, y no se pueden reproducir videos de forma aleatoria, siempre empieza por el tamaño de foto/video mas bajo en el caso seleccionado.
Pd. Para poder meterle videos necesitas convertirlos a formato .avi y .xvid con el Programa Any Video Converter Ultimate, es de paga, pero hay gratuitos, y la resolucion que debes usar es de 720*480 o de 640*480 algo asi.

A decent photo frame with lots of features and a good size. Flimsy construction, so it doesn’t feel like it’s built for quality. Often gets the photo orientation wrong, and you can’t modify that before saving them to the unit (I tried many times), and your changes don’t stick when rotating the pics on the unit. The lack of software to read the photo orientation and match it to the frame is a big negative. Had intermittent problems with strange photo resolutions and power-on problems, and it *failed totally* less than two months after I received it–fortunately for Amazon/Aluratek, almost a month past the return window. It was never transported anywhere and sat only on my desk at work.
I’m out the money, but you don’t have to be. I can’t recommend the frame to anyone, which is a shame, because I have previously enjoyed Aluratek products. Save your money and buy something better. And buy locally, if you can.

Not excellent resolution but more importantly limited display functions, non working shuffle settings and can’t recognize a wide range of file types. Half the photos I uploaded show up as “corrupt files” and won’t open once uploaded onto the memory card.

El marco es bueno cumple su funcion, al principio dude por los malos comentarios pero al verlo lo unico que tuve que hacer es cambiar el taño de mis imagenes y todas se vieron bien, yo pienso que los usuarios que dicen que no funciona es por que quieren mostrar fotos en una resolucion que no es la aceptada por el marco, si me llega a desesperar que siempre inicia en la misma foto, pero funciona muy bien

This little frame is getting a bad rep for the photo orientation problem. I was hesitant but I ordered two anyways. Windows automatically shows thumbnails in the proper orientation but photos may not actually be this way… it’s just shown the right way. If you download a program for photo loss orientation it will display the photos in their true orientation. Here you can rotate as you please for the frame to be portrait or landscape. Problem solved and works like a charm.

Once I jiggle it a little, it seems to make a connection, until I switch to the other, and then the same thing again. I thought if the box was damaged, the unit would still be fine. That’s why I picked this one to purchase

Was disappointed with the display showing all smartphone pictures sideways. Professional photos seem grainy and aren’t like ones viewed on other devices. Was easy enough to set up. Just plug and play really. I’m sure there is a way to rotate images, but don’t want the hassle as it’s a gift so I’m sending it back and getting something that doesn’t require as much effort. It’s supposed to be a grandparent gift so I don’t want them to have to fight with it on the future.

El producto me llegó en el tiempo ofrecido en perfecto estado, el único pero que le pongo es en razón a que si la memoria que le pongo conteniendo 2000 imágenes, se empieza a reproducir desde luego con la imagen 1 y si por alguna causa apago el reproductor por decir en la 425, al encenderlo de nueva cuenta no comienza su reproducción en el consecutivo siguiente (426), sino que reinicia de la imagen uno, lo que resulta molesto.

Bought for my father-in-law after his wife passed away. He has it set up in his kitchen so he can have breakfast and watch the pictures every morning. The picture quality isn’t amazing (blows out the whites and highlights), but it does the job and he really enjoys having it instead of a photo album. You just have to make sure that you make downsized copies your pictures to put on there. Any photo over 2.5MB will freeze the frame (I put a high speed card in there so it’s not a card speed issue)
