Bottom step crumpled on first use. We are not heavy people! Says over 300 lb capacity, my husband is 185. Unsturdy and unsafe. Do not buy.

There was no disliking the stepladder! It was far sturdier than others I have purchased, and I soon realized I had gotten my money’s worth. I feel safe when I use it. No wobble or slippage when I was on it. It also had an automatic locking system that was added for a person’s safety and just a small click to unlock it, and it was easy to move. There was ample room for my size 10 and extra wide shoes to fit on to the non-slip places to put my feet!
I, being a handicapped veteran, was cautious in my choice and could feel safe in using it. I will be looking for other products made by this company, and I am planning on the purchase of a second one as a gift to give to someone in the next little while who has polio.

We received the item in a very damaged box, with no protective packaging material, & it was put in a 2 step box then crossed out & labelled 3 step, almost like a returned item. The handle grip foam was sliced in half & unfortunately, the box was too damaged to send the item back. We liked the light weight of it & the fact that it was easy to fold & it reached the upper bunk in our camper (the reason we purchased it); however, when we step on the bottom step, the clip releases & the ladder begins to fold. It is also tippy when you climb it, it doesn’t stay solid on the floor. Maybe a design flaw

We purchased this Gimify 3 Step Stool on May 30, 2020 and have used it sparingly. Today, November 30, 2020, as my wife (135 lbs) was standing on the stool, it collapsed under her. She fell down and injured her back and neck. We are seeking medical attention for her injuries. DO NOT BUY THIS STOOL!! IT IS DANGEROUS TO USE AND A FALLING HAZARD!!

I am about 200 lbs and 6’1”. When you get on the steps, they wobble just a little bit giving you the impression that it’s not very strong, although it is. The play is just from stepping from the outside in but they could have placed the step better so you don’t feel this wobble. Definitely a drawback of this ladder. But for my wife who is very short, it works well for her and for me, it allows me to reach things at the very top of the closet which is about 9 or 10 feet high.

it supports me ok, does not feel super secure, but i weight a couple of tons, so there’s that.
I think its ok for supporting weight? for a normal human being?
If this was not a warehouse discount it might have gone back, i think it would not be worth the full price.

…but very sturdy and stable. Wide steps and nicely finished, it feels very safe. I recommend this step stool, especially if weight isn’t an issue for you.

This is a pretty good step stool. It’s easy to store, sturdy enough and I especially like the non-slip steps.
However the rise is too steep. I don’t even want to guess how many times I barked my shins getting up and down during a recent paint job.

This is the second school like this I have bought. I gave one to my daughter.
It is very sturdy and I love the wide steps. I use it around the house for replacing light bulbs and then anything I need to do up to the ceiling level.

Ordered the ladder based on wide steps, top rail to hold, and weight allowed. Looks good and is reasonably heavy, but the steps are a bit wobbly and don’t inspire confidence. Perhaps that’s the trade off for manageability.
MONICA –
It’s not as flat as I thought. Also, it’s doesn’t lock all the time so when you step on the bottom it starts to fold. I also thought I could use it in my kitchen to reach the top shelves, but it doesn’t go back far enough to the cabinets. It gaps out and you end up leaning over. It’s definitely usable and a good height, light weight, opens and closes easy, nice color, steps are a good size for stepping and standing on and my granddaughter uses the top step to sit on. Overall a good step stool.

Update, the company has kindly reached out and assured me of an investigation into this product and possible changes to ensure safety. They have also offered reparations for the incident. Buy it but Be cautious. It doesn’t lock and folds up while in use hence the easy to fold five stars.. this thing caused some injury.

I bought this ladder that looked similar to the one I own. “Similar” does not do it justice. I did not realize but the back legs of this ladder have a black plastic corner. I am not heavy but when I climb the ladder, those back legs are not stable at all. I am returning it and buying one with 4 individual legs that will not tumble when I use it.
