I ordered the “cashmere” scarf to wear with a vintage tote, and spent over an hour comparing Amazon screenshots of the color and patterns with my pictures of the tote. The color is different than what is presented on Amazon, therefore I am returning it. Pictures of the tote, & Amazon/City Scarf pictures are included. The scarf was never removed from the packaging but seemed soft. My need for “cashmere” is less than my need to have a nice scarf that resembles more closely the color of my vintage tote. If the color was the same as presented on Amazon by City Scarfs, I would have given 4 or 5 stars.

Finally a yellow that is very close to that shown. Looks to be of good quality (though I too question it’s cashmere labelling for the price) and the colour though not a perfect match to that depicted is a lovely pale shade of yellow and not dark mustard or super bright canary shade as so many items marketed as a pale shade have turned out to be.
Good scarf for a fair price.

Clearly not cashmere. It’s some kind of synthetic material. It is soft and warm…that’s about the best thing I can say about it. Almost certainly made in China and not Scotland. You can buy a similar scarf for 10 or 15 bucks at W*lMart.

Great product! The colors are beautiful and well blended, and the fabric is very soft to the touch. I ordered one to see how well I liked it and was so pleased that I immediately ordered two more to give friends as Christmas presents. It’s nice to find a gift labeled “Made in Scotland” (I hope it’s true) instead of being from China. Very reasonably priced for this quality.

I’m assuming this is real cashmere. It certainly feels like my other cashmere scarves that cost five times as much. I just received this moments ago and love, love it. The fabric is luxurious and soft, the colors bright and clear just as pictured. We don’t live in a snowy climate but being in the mountains even in the southern tier of States is nippy from November till April. This will be perfect for our thirties and forty degree days and will definitely be very warm for northern areas. But, the selling point is the fabric and many choices of patterns and colors from this company. I’ll definitely be buying other scarves from City Scarves. Very fast delivery even tho not Prime.
