PRERNA is a one week experiential learning program designed to empower the youth of the country with pride, heritage and patriotism. It is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, implemented by Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti at Vadnagar, Gujarat. Prerana is a not for profit organisation that works in six peri-urban villages in South Delhi, reaching out to about two hundred thousand families. It offers programmes and services in health, education, capacity building, advocacy and research, and has a team of committed professionals and partners. Odisha State Scholarship Portal envisioned to bridge the gap between the scholarship providers and scholarship seekers thus, encouraging more students to be in the system. The students from class IX to XII participate in ‘PRERANA Utsav’ in their own school and 02 selected students participants in district level PRERANA Utsav in nodal JNV/KV for selection for PRERANA Program.
