The suspension of IAS officer Pooja Singhal , who was in jail for over two years in a money laundering case, was revoked after she secured bail, an official of the Jharkhand government said on Wednesday. Pooja Singhal , an IAS officer who was jailed for money laundering linked to MGNREGA corruption, has had her suspension revoked after securing bail. Suspended since May 2022, she is now reinstated effective December 7, 2024, and will work in the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Raj Bhasa. Suspended IAS officer Pooja Singhal , accused of embezzling government funds and laundering over Rs 36 crore, was granted bail after 28 months in judicial custody by a Jharkhand court. Pooja Singhal is an Indian civil servant who is known for being the youngest IAS officer at the age of twenty-one. Her name was noted in the Limca Book of Records after becoming the youngest IAS officer.
