On March 12, 2024, Shri Nayab Singh became the 11th Chief Minister of Haryana and was elected as an MLA from the Karnal Assembly Constituency. Later, on October 17, 2024, he was re-elected as the 12th Chief Minister of Haryana and was elected as an MLA from Ladwa Assembly Constituency, Kurukshetra district.
