It is used to treat infections of the lungs (e.g., pneumonia), the ear, the nasal sinus, the urinary tract, the skin, and the soft tissue. It will not work for viral infections such as the common cold. Clavam Dry Syrup contains two different medicines, Amoxycillin and Clavulanic Acid, that work together to kill the bacteria that cause infections.
