Google is introducing the stable version of its next generation of operating system earlier than the previous years. While we're closing in on the release of Android 16, it is still in active development, so the Android system and apps running on it might not always work as expected. First official beta version was released on 23rd of January, 2025. It was the first major Android version to alter the ongoing once-a-year release schedule.
