Amar Jawan Jyothi serves as a tomb for the unknown soldiers. Amar Jawan Jyoti is manned round the clock by soldiers drawn from the three services of the Indian armed forces. Amar Jawan Jyoti Location India Gate is situated at about a mile from Connaught Place, at the eastern end of Rajpath in Central Delhi. The structure is made in pink sandstone and is set on a black marble pedestal. One can see the upturned rifle that is covered by a warhead gear and is encircled by torches that keep burning on all four corners. These flames represent the eternal spirit of the brave soldiers who will always be remembered for their valour ... On Friday, the government extinguished the Amar Jawan Jyoti 's eternal light beneath India Gate and replaced it with one installed at the National War Memorial in New Delhi in 2019.
