It appears that this model 2300 is being phased out. Amazon does not mention this. Amazon calls it a special for Prime members. You cannot get the replacement filter, bissell part number 1611508 or 1611500, from Bissell, Amazon, or in Google search. Bissell and Amazon claim the filter is washable and does not need to be replaced. But the filter is too fragile to be washed more than a couple of times. If the stuff in your dirt cup is mostly very fine carpet fibers or other light- weight dust, it sticks to the dirt cup and filter and flies all over when you try to empty the cup. I would return it except that I found all this out by using it and so it’s too late to return.

As advertised, this low priced stick vacuum has good suction power on hard surfaces. Not very effective on any form of carpet. The main issue is the short 15 foot cord. On an average size room you need to move it around to different wall plugs in order to clean the entire area.
Be watchful of the pricing details and what you actually paid. The item is currently on sale, one week after my purchase, $13.00 less than what I paid.
The current sale price also indicated I was charged $1.00 more that the advertised previous regular price.

I read both super good and super bad reviews for this vacuum, so I really didn’t know what to expect. But, after trying the Featherweight model (the one with the Powerbrush), I can say I couldn’t be happier! Even though this vacuum is super tiny, cleaning my room is three times faster than with my older, bulkier one. The filter is super easy to clean, the vacuum is not too noisy… The only downside is the short cord, but honestly, it’s so easy to move around I don’t really mind.

So… I was thinking that a stick vac might be a good idea for our hard floors, in order to get more of the fur off the floor than the broom does; plus in some ways it’s a quicker and easier way to clean them. I was definitely right!
Two days ago we swept the floor, and I decided to sweep the floor today so that I could see what one day’s worth looks like, and then the vacuum was due to arrive tomorrow, so I would see what one day of vacuuming would pick up, to give something to compare to.
Well, it actually arrived today, about an hour after I finished sweeping. So I thought, “what the heck?” I vacuumed over the floor anyway.
Look at these photos, the first is the dustpan filled from sweeping, the rest show what the little Bissel stick vacuum picked up. ONE HOUR LATER. Keep in mind, I stuck to only the areas I had just swept!
Life with 6 cats and a dog!

I think the most important thing to keep in mind is what are you going to use the vacuum for.
I bought this vacuum because everything else is so expensive. I have been using a broom until now. The vacuum is pretty, small, and feather light! The suction is not super powerful, which I am guessing is a result of the light weight and the price.
However, considering 99% of garbage on my floors are hair and dust, this works just fine. If you are looking to pick up a lot of heavier, wet debris with it (such as cleaning up after very small children), this may not be the product for you.
For the price, and how lightweight this is, and considering otherwise I couldn’t have afforded a vacuum, I am pleased, even it means I have to vacuum certain spots a few times over.

It works so well! It sucks with a very good strenght, although it doesn’t try to eat my carpets! Perfect sucking balance! Cat hair, human hair, litter bits and anything else in front of it will be swallowed! Works great on ceramics, carpets, stairs, hardwood floors, everywhere! Soooooo light weight! Very easy to assemble and take appart, easy to take care of it, tiny enough to store any place! I would give it more stars if I could!

This little vacuum is small, lightweight but also MIGHTY! I actually purchased it for my son’s 2nd birthday because he’s always trying to vacuum with my larger, heavier Dyson and I don’t want him to break it and he struggles with it because it’s pretty heavy for a 2 year old. Well, I’ve now come to really enjoy this little Bissell. It’s so easy to use! It’s really light weight and so pulling it out to vacuum up things I notice here and there isn’t a big deal and so therefore I actually DO IT! Also, my son, believe it or not, vacuums up a lot while he’s “playing” with it. I simply don’t attach the longer handle while he uses it because it’s the perfect length for him without it. I recommend this vacuum for anyone with small children, anyone looking to take the hassle out of vacuuming up smaller jobs here and there and to those who perhaps have an injury or weakness that prohibits them from using heavier vacuums.

This little sweeper does an excellent job of picking up literally everything, dog hair, dust, little pieces of debris etc. The suction is powerful gets into corners beautifully and the filter is very easy to change and clean. I am especially amazed at the amount of dog hair it picks up. The photo is from one floor, my living room floor.

This floor vacuum is alright. If I were to go back in time I probably wouldn’t buy it. It has a clip that keeps the body that holds the diet attached to the handle and if this thing falls over it unclicks and makes a mess all over the floor. I also find that for my open concept space the cord is not long enough so I’m constantly moving it from outlet to outlet. And the suction itself isn’t very strong. I’ve often had to feed it dirt that it just refuses to suck up. I’m not very impressed but I do like it for vacuuming couches so it’s not a total loss.

Thid is a product of USA. Most reviews are from americans so please don’t get fooled. It doesn’t work for Indian voltage. Mine was damager after the third use. I use it once in a month so by the third month the return window was closed absolute waste of money!

I read quite a few reviews before finally deciding to buy it. I could not be happier with my purchase. I have a large Bernese Mountain dog and it being fall season, he is shedding quite profusely, but in no time at all, it had picked up all the hair in three major rooms. Of course, I had to empty it quite often, but that is to be expected, it is not a central vac, which is what I have, but I would rather use this light little Bissell for everyday cleaning. The suction is just enough to clean the room of dust and dog hair, I am quite pleased with it. I highly recommend this vacuum

Where has this been my whole life?! It’s like a powerful Dustbuster with a long handle so perfect for little crumbs. I have hardwood floors throughout my house and only carpet in the kids bedrooms with 1 rug in the family room. I rarely brought out the vacuum because it was big and bulky. I would sweep multiple times a day and still felt like the floors were still dirty. I had a
Roomba at one point but our dog decided it was an intruder and “took care of the problem”.
Pros:
-lightweight (3.4lbs)
-works on all flooring types
-easy to empty
-bagless
-turns into handheld
-attachment for crevices like between couch cushions.
-not as loud as regular vacuum
-sucks up items as large as Cheerios
Cons
-short cord (15ft)
-no hook or anything to hang it on a wall for storage
-small collection chamber but it’s a little vacuum so it’s expected!
All in all, this is great for a quick run around the house and picks up crumbs, dog hair and snacks left behind by little ones!
