Ms. Windermere –
This was surprisingly easy to assemble. It looks like a bunch of steel beams, all packaged in bundles, in their own boxes inside the main box. The bed is 4 pieces, and then all the slats, the sides just open up and are one piece which makes it sooo fast. I could put the screws in with my fingers because the holes were perfect. Hex wrench and extra screw included. My only issue was the slats were a bit tricky to put in – they just slip into pockets along the sides but they were a tight fit. The pockets look like the rods are supposed to go in then drop down about 1/2 inch but I could only get them *just* into the pocket and even with a hammer couldn’t seat them deeper. They’re the tinest, 5 millimeters too long or a hair too wide. ( A slightly tapered end would be perfect) This could also translate into being very, very snug tho, which isnt terrible. It was just a change after how easy the rest of it was. This is very sturdy tho if you’re on a wood floor I’d suggest buying rubber grips or something to pad the legs. There are plastic plugs on the ends but it slides easily. Great for the money, very comfy and ideal if you’re tall and need a higher frame. Would buy again

Padding on the legs would of been nice

My son put it together , he had a couple issues but i chalk that up to being a rookie. He did a good job the bed has stayed quiet and hasn’t tipped on him which the other brand i bought and returned did. one rod wont stay in and I cant make it stay in. thankfully they’re metal. the bed is very sturdy my son is ‘2″ and 200 pounds and it is just fine. Unfortunately with the new bed being a twin instead of Queen his girlfriend has no room and can not be on it at the same time.. but, really he “needed “a new bed. i did buy two rolling drawers for under the bed they fit nicely too.

Exactly as described.

Bought bed and mattress new… bed slats kept coming off. Middle bar is broken. Has ruined my mattress worst purchase ever. Complete waste of money! Do not purchase! Especially if its for nightly use! My son is only 13 and a 130 lbs… this is ridiculous! Very disappointed!

I had to return mine as soon as I got it. It came bent and I was unable to put the pieces together. It also came with no instructions. The item looked sturdy, but once I tried to assemble it, the pieces wouldn’t come together because the legs were bent and crooked. I must have just got a bad frame or a defective one.

Whole we plan to keep the frame, two of the holes for screws were too big or stripped. Thank goodness for zip ties. I think if this was not a problem the review would have been 5 stars.

This product is for our bed, to be used instead of a conventional box spring. It seems to support the mattress (a king) well and it did not take my husband overly long to figure out how to put it together. I have two small complaints with it — (1) It makes your mattress difficult to scoot all the way up once it’s not and so we have more bed frame than needed by a few inches; (2) It’s heavy and sturdy but if you stub your toe on it, or bang into it in the dark you will be in some pain! Just watch what your doing. I wish there were soft somethings we could put around it to prevent such accidents. Otherwise it does the job it was designed to do.
