Just what I had been looking for at church. Recognizing that some people grab onto the lectern while they are speaking and they might pull it apart, I placed some small wooden dowel pins underneath from the inside, not protruding out to keep it all together. Works great!

Love the look of this sturdy, well made tabletop podium. It is very heavy and no good way for a woman (especially a senior) to carry it. Recommend the manufacturer create a carry bag for this “portable” piece. I struggle With it every time I must Bring it to a meeting.

Very good portable lectern.
The only problem is if the speaker puts too much pressure on the back edge, the top will flip up and dump the stuff on it on the floor.
I think I am going the attach a small brass catch that will stop that.

The lectern is easy to assemble, and its solid construction ensures it won’t fall apart or fall over during use. It’s the perfect height to be used on top of a table and is wide enough to accommodate a laptop and a stack of paper. The wood grain appearance is professional and attractive.

I bought this for the use of a standing desk. When placed on a desk or counter it is just about the right height to use as a standing desk.
Additional note: The initial unit I received had a crack in it. The manufacturer had great customer service and sent a replacement top very quickly. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.
