NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. I received a full refund. Calcium build up (or something) would not come off after washing and left white flakes over the water/ice.

Maybe I just need to spend more time trying to figure this out but the design of two halves always leaves the skills joined by a thin layer where the water leaks out. You can’t really get the water to fill the top without this happening. It’s hard to tell that they are skulls once frozen due to ice not being clear. The molds itself is decent quality and the details are good. Possiby could make cool ice cubes if you take the time to figure out out.

This is very cool. I had my doubts but it works very well. Have made 6-7 batches already. The ice cubes look just like a skull and are a pretty decent size. One of these skull cubes would replace 3 regular ones. Want clear(er) cubes? Try using warm water instead of cold. And distilled water works even better. If you have a reverse osmosis system the word on the street is they will be crystal clear. And remember folks, unclear ice cubes aren’t the fault of the ice mold…it’s the waters (and most likely your) fault.

Here is how to use it properly.
Take the top off, fill the bottom part with water to the top.
Put the top part on and press until water. Comes out the sides and the top.
Now you can freeze it.
If you take too much water out the skull will have a hole on top but they still look badass and their purpose is to melt anyways.

Great, good quality flexible material. Slightly tricky to fill, but the instructions do mention you can make the breather holes bigger and fill from the top. The resulting “cubes” are a great shape and large enough to last a couple of drinks.

Ordered these to make cake pops for a Halloween party. Turned out great.. I did use a cooking spray to make sure they came out easily. Made 8 batches (4 per batch). Took a while, but was worth it. Added cookie crumble grave dirt, gummy worms and “Blood”. If only they came in a bigger size. Guess I will have to buy more! Can’t wait to try them with jello.

I bought this for my husband and he LOVES it. Granted, I’m the one that actually uses it to make the ice cubes. He just uses the ice cubes. But he loves them. And I don’t mind making them! I read a review before buying them saying that you need to fill the tray up to almost the top and squish down the top piece in order to get a full ice cube. That was extremely helpful!

A little disappointing. I was expecting to be able to freeze full 3d skulls. All that happens is that the face of the skull is frozen and the back part of the mould remains empty.

Works really well. Easy to use. If you don’t want foggy ice then use filtered water. I don’t personally care.

Still trying to work out the kinks in getting the skull heads to be fully formed. It seems like it’s going to take some work but from other reviews I’ve read it seems to be attainable. I recommend trying to fill from the top holes. Widen them a touch then add the water that way. So far I’ve had a few fully formed but the majority always break off oddly.
