Best pan you’ll ever get. 14in was a bit big for me but it was cheaper than the 12in (cant explain that one…) The way the borders go up is great for sautéing food, goes in the oven (gotta remove the handle) and just overall great build, disperse heat amazingly, just a great pan period. get it. do it. click that buy now button. what are you waiting for? stop reading this and click it already.

This is a robust and versatile frying pan. A good complement to a large pan.

Pan is a bit heavy but that’s a sign of quality. Solidly riveted and not flimsy. We got two on sale for $44 CAD so that’s a great deal for a pan of this quality. There was a small scratch around rim from the packaging (one on top of the other) but it was inconsequential. The egg frying test passed with flying colours. Gets hot fast so only use medium heat for most uses. Also noticed that it says “made in USA” on the Amazon add but when delivered it is made in Brazil. Not sure if it matters but it should be corrected so as not to mislead people. Those are reason all told that I gave 4 and not 5 stars

This is an excellent pan but it was certainly not worth waiting 6 weeks for it to arrive. It was beautifully packaged and cooks well.

Fantastic non stick frying pan, great for cooking eggs in any way.
I’ve even used this to fry an egg without any butter or oil and the egg slid around with ease.
Very easy to clean, rubber handle is a nice touch to avoid burns.

Sadly, I have to report that despite their claim of a lifetime warranty, Tramontina does not respond to any requests for warranty support. As many other reviewers have noted, I suffered from a warped pan bottom despite *extreme* care to avoid rapid heating or cooling, careful washing, etc. This is from normal household use, after only a few months! However, despite multiple attempts to contact Tramontina to address what I feel is a manufacturing flaw, they have consistently failed to respond.
For those of you with gas stoves, this probably won’t be an issue; your grates will hold the pan regardless of its warp. However, for anyone who has a glass-top or induction flat stove, I suggest you consider another product.

This isn’t an inexpensive item, and I found it quite unimpressive.
Firstly, it’s not made in the USA. Stamped right on the bottom if the pan is, MADE IN BRAZIL. Not that that should matter, but it may influence some people’s purchase decision because they think it’s a domestic product.
While we’re there, the bottom of the pan isn’t completely flat. This means that it’s not in contact with all of the glass surface of my stove, and heat distribution isn’t even.
I used only wooden and plastic implements when cooking with it, but after only a few days’ use the interior surface of the pan started clearly showing scratches.
I’ve used it too much to return it at this point, but I won’t be buying more from this line of products.

This got rave reviews on Wirecutter, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have to say this is the first non-stick pan that has actually lived up to the promise. It is much more expensive, but I think it’s worth every penny. We’ve been using it for over 6 months, several times a day, and it still works and looks great. Definitely worth the extra cost.

This is my second one, the first one I had for 20 plus years and served me very well. So far the new one
seems to be very good. The difference I notice is the thickness seems to be thinner than the old one and the handle is shorter but so far the new one works great.

Sorry this was used when it arrived. I wouldn’t pay a dollar for it I’m the second hand shop. I am horrified that a badly used product would be sent as a new one.

I bought this in April 2021 after using a friend’s Paderno pan while staying at a cottage. Checking the Paderno out showed that they did not carry the same model anymore. This Tramontina looked identical to the Paderno. The Paderno is either two-seventy or three-seventy at CTire, and doens’t even have the silicone handle. So this Tramontina seemed a bargain at around ninety-five bucks, what I paid for it here.
Then, of course, I see it for thirty five dollars at c ost co.
Great fry pan, buyer beware.

Got this just last week. Been great. Our first non-stick fry pan in years. 12-inch is what you need to fry 3 eggs at the same time. Heats up quickly as advertised. Light to lift, but feels sturdy. It’s $20-30 over “the best” as recommended by America Test Kitchen, but they didn’t test this. Will buy again in 4-5 years when it’s time to replace it.

I really like that this pan has great heat retention. I can cook a variety of things using it and they’ve all turned out well. In addition, you can take the sleeve off and put it in the oven as well. It has all of the features of a cast iron pan without needing to season anything! Would highly recommend.
