Opened the box and the filters are squashed to the point they are ripped around the edges meaning water will leak past it without proper filtering. And it doesn’t even appear to be charcoal filter as others also stated here. I do NOT recommend this at all!

Yes, filters are essential, and yes, these do work as specified; HOWEVER, the Goldtone BWF100 are just as compatible and work just as well and are almost half the price of these. Just putting that out there.

After reading multiple negative reviews about cheap alternatives to these I decided to order the original brand. I’m happy to say that they don’t leak charcoal into the water (tested a filter submerged for 10 mins with occasional stirring). They are more expensive but I feel safer using these.

The product is not authentic Breville as advertised. I was not confident this would be compatible to use in my machine & safe for use also.
Suggested to the seller the listing be amended. The seller was polite and issued me a refund at my request.

The filters are packed separately and I love that! I don’t like that they are all smooshed and when you open the box they are not solid like original one because they all smushed together and it makes me wander if any of them is broken inside. The first that I used wasn’t broken but this one is a top one and what is coming next?

these filters are vital to prevent any particles from entering into your machine – cheap insurance for the machine insides! Also don’t forget to descale your machine on a regular basis, no matter how soft or hard your water is.

Chances are you’re going to be using these filters in an espresso machine, in which case I would wholeheartedly recommend them. I don’t claim that they make any sort of difference as far as the taste of the espresso is concerned. However, I think that they can extend the life of your espresso machine and reduce the frequency of descaling. These filters are completely optional; your machine is designed to work perfectly without any sort of water filtering. However, I’ve found that using water filters and changing them every 2 months means that I almost never have to descale my espresso machine. It’s good to descale your machine when it needs it, but it’s even better not to let scale take hold in the first place! Because one package of filters will last you a full year, I think they are a great value. More power to you if you believe that they make the coffee taste better!

I am not happy at all with this product! Misleading and false advertising.
Firstly – the product images show a original Breville box – and eludes to the product you are receiving is an original Breville product for your order.
Secondly, the Brand in the details is Breville. It is not.
Thirdly, the description states “Breville BWF100 replacement filters for the BKC600XL Gourmet Single Cup Coffee Brewer. Includes a one year supply of 6 charcoal filters.” CHARCOAL, it states Charcoal filter. They are not charcoal and are soft and gooey. It appears to be a resin of some sorts – I would not know as I simply had these delivered in little white plastic bags with no clue or document to say what is contained within the filters.
What is contained within them?? Not acceptable.
Other products and sellers state “this is not the genuine Breville product.” and that a resin is inside.
This seller is misleading and charging a premium for low quality product and is showing misleading photos. The seller should mention these are not genuine so buyers and make an informed choice.

Not sure why so many buyers give such high score for this product, the one I receive is definitely not genuine! They are very soft. This is misleading advertising, not Breville brand. To people who wants to buy it, the filter you receive is very very soft! The authentic one is very firm.
