This product failed to work. There is probably a bad connection within it, but the biggest problem has been that the seller has not responded to my enquiries. Effectively I have wasted £12 on a bag of nothing and now I have to spend more money with a different seller to get the product I need. Useless.

Holy! bought this from Amazon, came in an “amazon basics’ box, hooked it up to my camera and computer, DOESN’T WORK! Old, shorter cable works just fine. Tried each USB port, nothing. I’m a Prime Member and still can’t return this piece of junk!?! Would give ZERO stars for the product and the return policy if able!!

It’s fast delivery and the length of the cord is great so you can hide the cable inside your car interior. I use it for my Magellan GPS.

The lead supplied with my dashcam became intermittent, and since I already had a 4-way USB charger in the car, it made sense to use a standard USB cable to power it, in place of the bulky dashcam adapter.
Delivery was slower than expected, but the lead appears to be of high quality and is working perfectly, having routed it out of sight in the car.

Seller sent a replacement, which after several messages eventually arrived, it works fine. Although they messaged me loads since then asking me to update my review. So I have now done this hopefully they’ll now leave me alone. Due to the faulty first cable, the length of time for the original delivery and replacement cable, plus the many emails, I feel a fair star rating to be 3 stars.
I feel for the interest of clarity I will leave the original review I left, for which I gave 1 star.
Waited for ages for the cable to arrive (but within stated delivery time).
Tried the cable with my dash cam, Transcend DrivePro 100, cable failed to power up dash cam. I tried a different cable that I own, that I knew worked and the dash cam immediately turned on. I only ordered this particular cable as it had the right angle mini usb connector. I’m returning it for a refund. Which hopefully is quicker than the time it took to deliver it.

Does just what I needed. I needed the extra length to power a rear dashcam so perfect. One less star because the cable stickies to keep tidy do not stick to the glass or anything really. Overall pleased with cable and works great.

please be cautious before buying this nonsense. as you will get stuck with this and can not return.

great usb cord so far for my dash cam! plenty of length for my SUV and even some left over
EDIT: Might’ve been a bit hasty with my review… the cord is great for dashcams in general but it doesn’t work with my Garmin. I’ve tried multiple cig chargers but none worked, then I changed the cable and it works now. Seems the amount of power going through isn’t enough. Good enough for my friend’s dashcam though.. the added cord holders aren’t that great btw (they don’t stick well enough) but basically be aware you may need to buy your own and electrical tape. I will be returning it unfortunately as its not working for me

I bought this to connect my Drive Pro dashcam in my new car which doesn’t have a cigarette lighter fitting but does have USB sockets in the armrest box. This is more than long enough to run down the side of the windscreen, into the passenger footwell, under the carpets and the seat and up again into the armrest box. Perfect, and the little hooks that are supplied help to stop it popping out of the groove between the windscreen and the trim.

If you were to use this chord with a dash cam, you have to press 2 buttons every time it turns on. Doesn’t work properly for dash cam, it thinks it’s connected to a computer. Would not recommend for using with a dash cam in a vehicle.
