Ich war erst skeptisch, ob dieses Teil überhaupt halten kann und fest sitzt…
Und muss echt sagen… Sie hält bombenfest. Sie rutscht nicht, wackelt nicht und sieht zudem echt gut aus. Selbst bei starkem bremsen oder beim fahren durch Schlaglöcher passiert absolut nichts.
Ich weiß echt nicht, wie die so gut halten kann, aber Sie tut es. Sie hält sogar mein 7 Zoll großes Navi ohne Probleme.
Es gibt glaube Ich nichts besseres. Kann ich nur empfehlen 🙂

This solves the problem of moving the GPS between cars. It also allows easy positioning of the unit anywhere on the dash you wish. Since I lease cars for business and change them every three years, this means I no longer have to permanently mount a disk on the dash of each vehicle. Simply lift it out and away you go.
I highly recommend this unit. It is rock solid stable on the dash and because of the nature of the bottom material, it doesn’t slide around at all.

I am a Garmin person! I like their products and when I decided to get a portable mount for my GPS, I looked at Garmin. I am not disappointed, the mount is perfect for my car, holds my GPS perfectly, has the flexibility to be placed anywhere and I’m a happy camper! Highly recommend this product.

I actually really like the dash mount as its base is very steady. But the joint is too loose, My GPS is actually hanging down very loosely with screen facing downward. I cannot really seen the GPS screen sitting in driver’s seat. Did they change the supplier or have loose quality control as the product’s previous comments are really good?
I made a final effort to contact Garmin (Canada) hoping to change the joint only (Amazon provided the manufacturer contact info). But they are kindly of impatient and rude saying since you bought it from Amazon, you need to contact Amazon. I guess they just do not bother to take responsibility as the manufacturer.
Amazon did a good job arranging the return efficiently.
One Man –
I bought this two or three years ago and made over 100,000 km since. It works well but after all this time I realized the bottom rubber material (made to ensure friction, so no slipping around, is degrading slowly and now I have to correct the item’s position slightly maybe a few times a day. Still not a big issue since the movement is small and you can clearly see the GPS without need to re position the mount till next stop.

Le support tient le GPS a sa place. Le mien est sur le dessus du tableau de bord de mon VR a grand angle. L’ajustement du support permet de le déposé en repliant une patte pour empêcher de glisser sur le devant.
Il est arrivé une fois que le GPS a légèrement bougé a cause du centre de gravité. Après l’ajustement tout est revenu dans l’ordre.
L’antidérapant fait le reste.

Love love love this. Bought it for my old satnav,, suction attachment broke, a perfect fit, as the fitting is still same size. No more frustrating stabs at windscreen, trying to get suction to stick. Even then, it might fall off whilst driving. Then there is the panic to get it back on / get passenger to hold it! If you have a Garmin, you need to get this and thank me later. All you have to do is just click stand into base, leave on dashboard, attach equipment and drive. It won’t move until you move it, probably the magnets. Fantastic. I won’t dare fumble for satnav when stuck in traffic, as too much hassle to divert to strange route. This make it so easy that I now look forward to going strange places where I need a satnav! Remember to thank me later.

I wish I had bought this a year ago. I have a vw up that doesn’t come with a sat nav. So I had to buy a sat nav and stick it to the screen which after some time kept falling off while I was driving. I put off buying this because I was concerned that the friction base might not work on the central air vent on my dashboard which is where I wanted it. Well it works and hasn’t moved an inch on my journeys to work which involve country roads with potholes and roundabouts and varying speeds. It does exactly what it says it does and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Endlich mal nix an der Scheibe befestigen und fällt bei jeder Unebenheit im Boden wieder runter. Damit ist eine gute Halterung gelungen die bei mir mittig vorne auf der Ablage liegt. Sie liegt bombenfest auch mit Navi, Kurven oder bremsen interessiert die Halterung nicht, da muss nix gradegerückt werden oder ähnliches und das Navi wackelt auch nicht.
Wer wie ich an der Scheibe sowas nicht mag ist mit dieser Garmin Halterung bestens bedient und ich bin damit super zufrieden.
Anm.: Da ich bei suchen eines Produktes großen Wert auf die bereits verfassten Rezensionen lege und auch fast immer danach auch aussuche, verfasse ich ebenfalls Rezensionen um Informationen und meine gemachten Erfahrungen mit den gekauften Artikeln hier an dieser Stelle weitergebe. Nuvi 2595. If you can cope with a fairly monstrous blob on your dash, then this will solve the problem of how to mount your Garmin. For me, the vent-holder won’t work on my car’s vents, the windscreen sucker occasionally drops off (never at a good time) but this holds my sat nav perfectly. I’ve seen a YouTube video of a dude accelerating with one of these placed on a sloping dash so I put mine on the sloping bit. It fell off the first time I properly accelerated onto a busy roundabout – not that I drive like that often. Lesson learned. It now sits a little further away from me than is ideal but on the flatter bit of the dash and it is steadfast. My problem now is how to keep the heavy sat nav power lead from flaying around.

I used this product daily for 5+ years and it held up like a champ. For the price I paid I was quite impressed.
This mount keeps your GPS in a great position on your dashboard (no more window smudges). Won’t move around on you, give it a try if you don’t believe me. It also won’t leave any marks on your dashboard. What else could you ask for?

Really needed a product to keep GPS in place where I can see it so tried this. Great product but make sure its sitting flat on dash & not where its sloped forward, I put it there so it impacted the windshield less but it tended to send the whole thing (mount & GPS) flying at me if I turned quickly or accelerated quickly and even when I was on a rough road. Placed it further back from me, closer to the windshield and problem solved – Really happy with it

Works ok and stays put while driving on decent roads but will bounce around when it gets rough. If you’re driving on good city streets & hiways, this is a good product. If you’re going off road or mostly bumpy/pothole roads, this will not work well. Over 3 years, the soft foam base is starting to dry out; I’m thinking of replacing the base foam with something stickier.
