This alarm is great, we have 3 now! You can use as described, but you can also use it over brake/gear cables or anywhere on bike you can slide it over.
Love that it emits 3 loud chirps at the first, mild vibration. Then it goes off loudly if the vibration continues, or there is a 2nd vibration.
There is zero chance anyone can get these off, or try to carry away the bike with the alarm going off! They are very sturdily built out of all metal.
Great value and work better then expected!

Simple,,, disk break compatible only,,, verry sensitive,,, Mabie too sensitive but depending what ur looking for but a few rain drops to close together and the vibration will trip the warning and then the alarm so keep it in mind wen choosing

If you are looking for a toy to protect your bike, this is it. Thin cheap metal, would not hold up to a basic hack saw for more than about 30 seconds. What junk.

This lock is a great idea except for one thing, the material it’s made of is inferior and breaks if you move the bike with it installed. This is what happened to me, I had forgotten that I hadn’t removed the lock yet and as I pushed the bike forward, I heard a crunch, the lock had split into two pieces and was lying on the ground. It turns out that it is just made of cast iron and has no strength. Anyone could hit it with a hammer and the same thing would happen. Oh well! Great concept but needs to be pure steel in order to really work.

Very sensitive, even the rain sets it off depending on how hard it is. My alarm measures in at around 72db, not the advertised 110db but the lock itself works fine and I’ll be keeping it.

Honestly I guess I should have checked the listing but it does not come with a reminder cable so I’m absolutely not going to use this. Waste of money, why not ship with one for the 10 cents it could have cost to manufacture.

Funktioniert soweit ganz gut, ist jedoch erst einige Wochen im Gebrauch.
Das Schloss ist sehr empfindlich, der Alarm ist durchaus laut und schreckt mit Sicherheit ab aber es hört sich etwas kratzend an. Hoffe das macht das Piezoelement lange mit.
Ich habe den Alarm beim entfernen unabsichtlich ausgelöst. Am Block neben dem Balkon (EGS). Meine Ohren sind fast abgefallen. Meine Eltern haben den Alarm beim geschlossenem Fenster jedoch nicht wahrgenommen. Dabei sollte das eigentlich bei 110dB hörbar sein. Das macht mit nun etwas stutzig, ob ich eine ggf. Entwendung meines Motorrads mitbekomme.
Aber für 14€ dennoch sinnvoll, um den Dieb ect. abzuschrecken!
