La compré para grabar entrevistas y conferencias de prensa.
Normalmente la uso en lugares con mucho ruido, mucha gente o mal audio, pero siempre da buenos resultados.
Aunque esté apagada, puede empezar a grabar con apretar un solo botón, así no pierdo un solo segundo.
Lo único que no me gusta es que no es recargable, pero bueno, trae baterías. Ya veremos cuánto duran.

Over the past 23 years I have purchased Olympus digital recorders for work. My first one was an Olympus VN-60 and over the years on average I purchased the next gen VN model as I wore them out. The VN-451PC was to replace my VN-7000.
This recorder has very poor sound quality and feels very cheaply made. It doesn’t have a menu per se, and you can only “set up” the time and date, beeper on/off only when changing or disconnecting the batteries. The type of sound input choices are very poorly thought out.
There are no features this VN model has as compared to my other VN ‘s that I have owned in the past. The other VN models had a menu to change sound input quality, mic sensitivity, timer on/off, Voice activation, and so on.
This is a watered down reconfigured version of the older VN models. 23 Years being a loyal customer who purchased around 20 VN series recorders, I end up purchasing an over priced toy. I’ll be going to Sony from now on.

Great reorder! Very easy to use. Very good and intuitive with the buttons and functions. A little plasticky but light weight and fits well on your palm. Starts records instantly maybe a second of lag time! Very happy with this purchase!

WE BOUGHT THIS TO HELP MY SON RECORD HIS UNIVERSITY COURSES.
ON THE PRO SIDE, THE CONTROLS ARE SIMPLE TO USE.
THE NEGATIVES THOUGH ARE THE BATTERY NEEDS TO GET REPLACED OFTEN AND MY SON FINDS THE RECORDING QUALITY IS NOT GREAT.
WOULD RETURN IF I COULD BUT OVER THE ALLOWED RETURN PERIOD.

Work as expected. Careful when use a usb cable. Was having problem connected to a PC. Somehow my office USB cable used can’t see the drive (recorder) . But the recorder show connected. “PC” . After swapping another quality cable it worked.

Je veux un enregistreur sans gadget, tout simple d’utilisation.C’est seulement pour enregistrer conférences, entretien etc. Il y avait trop de fonctions que je ne comprenais pas.

Al enviar los archivos a la PC se ubican por carpetas para mejor acceso.

This lives up to the Olympus quality standard. Solid, reliable, straightforward, with good recording quality as well. My one complaint is with the manual operation, which I couldn’t figure out from the handbook alone. But once I plugged the recorder into my computer, I could see what was what and all was well.

the “talk” function is amazing. I was in a very noisy cafe and could still clearly make out our conversation. The other functions however, even when in a completely still room, are terrible quality. For the price though I would definitely recommend!

Good sound quality but it’s way too easy to accidentally record something. Every time I take it out of my pocket or camera bag, it’s been recording for a long time.
