This is a solidly built TV mount that will be limited by the stud that it is screwed into. The rated weight is very conservative. Extra hardware is bundled, which is nice. Tightening the universal joint after installation requires the low-profile wrench that is included.

Searching the options, both Amazon and local, I came across this one.
Pros: Easy to understand instructions, especially that it considers safety and tv precautions to make sure you don’t damage your tv.
– the many bolts, screws and options help to make it simple and versatile.
– the many points of joints make it easy to operate
– the whole this is sturdy, and easily holds up a TV. While making it strong also.
Cons
– you will need a drill for smoother install.
– power tools help a lot especially if you decide to install in something more sturdy then drywall.
Even considering the cons, this is a good product, that is dependable and sturdy
The only thing that would mess this up is operator incompetence/mishaps.

So, I have a 42″ TV. I had read the reviews on this mounting bracket and all of them said how heavy duty it was and that it could hold way more weight than a 39″. My TV seemed to be particularily light so I ordered it. When I finally got around to hanging my TV using this bracket there was one thing I didn’t count on. I guess there is a jump in spacing involving the TV’s built-in screw holes for a mounting bracket with any size after a 39″ TV. Either way I wasn’t going to return it so I went to the hardware store and picked up 4 qty. 6″ x 3/4″ zink ‘mending plates’. I also got some screws (1/4 by 1/2″ long) , matching nuts and lock washers. I used that to extend the ‘arms’ so that it would reach the wider spaced holes.. Needless to say, It worked perfectly and the mount hasn’t a single issue holding my 42″ Sharp TV.
I’m very pleased with this mounting bracket. It works on what it says and with only a slight modification it works with larger TV’s too.
UPDATE: I was asked to add some pics of the modification so it would work on a larger physical TV that is still reasonably light. Mine happens to be a Sharp 42″ lcd

Was very hesitant to purchase a wall mount sight unseen, but this one has stood up very well for my 32” tv in the bedroom. It was easy to setup, I think major thing is that you find a stud, as the tv has been up for over a year with this bracket with zero issues. It’s as heavy duty as the ones in store at a fraction of the price. It isn’t amazing, but it gets the job done. Would probably look at a beefier model for a TV bigger than a 40”, but strongly recommend for a 32” new age tv.

I had a little trouble finding the stud to mount this unit into, but that my problem, not a problem with the product. I was concerned, living in an older home, that it may be too heavy for the wall but it’s held up wonderfully. The joints are firm enough that it doesn’t move around unintentionally, they hold in place great. But it is fairly easy to change the placement of the tv when needed. I haven’t found a valid reason for the tv to be able to flip upside down but it’s a good laugh when friends mention how much they like the bracket (“well look at the weird thing it does for some reason”).
It’s pretty compact, surprisingly heavy. It’s all made of metal, comes with a little mini level, as well as most of the necessary tools (no stud finder, though I wouldn’t have expected them to put in such an expensive tool).
The price is cheap but the quality of this bracket is anything but.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive, slim, easy to install (I did I my self start to finish), versatile and effective tv mount, I’d put my money on this one over and over again

Used this to mount my 32″ Samsung smart tv in the kitchen. Even if this were priced like the rest of the 60+ dollar 32″ tv wall mounts, it would still be worth the money. I’m very impressed,I was afraid that the mount would be flimsy at this price point, but it is quite solid. I mounted mine using the lag bolts provided, and screwed them into a stud, as I don’t trust drywall anchors to hold anything like this. Honestly though, I think those three bolts are overkill, as I could probably swing off of this mount.

Very easy to install. Comes with a tiny magnetic leveler and all hardware required.
Perfect for a single monitor setup – perhaps even good for dual monitor setup if both are mounted perfectly.
Easy range of motion, gears and hardware are fluid and nice. Definitely would recommend.

My biggest fear with installing one of these was that it would be a pain to get it aligned straight. I actually installed a larger sized TV (a 55″ TCL) but feel confident this will support it. The weight of the TV is far below the max. capacity from the manufacturer. I’ve done a lot of construction myself, and was able to set everything up without a second person, but if you’re dealing with a TV bigger than 32″ I would suggest having someone ready to help lift, not so much for the weight but just the awkwardness of the screen.
Another concern I had was there being enough wiggle room because our TV was being mounting in a spot where I knew the studs weren’t going to lign up with the middle of the TV location. I think it ended up being about 4 inches off center, but with the way everything extends the TV can still sit in the middle of the space. I only have about 2 inches of tolerance on each side, but this worked great.
I appreciate that it comes with velcro straps to keep the cords together and neat. In addition, there are two small little pieces of rubber that stick to the arm joints that would hit the wall if you aren’t careful. That’s a nice thoughtful addition that I don’t think shows up in the parts list.

This works fairly well. But you’ll want to have more tools than the instructions suggest. There’s a bit of finicking around because there are so many places you could attach bolts. Once attached to the wall, I realized that the tensioner (that keeps the screen pointing the way you’d like) wasn’t tight enough to support the weight, so I had to remove it and tension it, then put it back up. Now that it’s there, it seems very sturdy and it does what I want. So -1 for being finicky….4 points for cheap and functional.
