I’ve only had it 15 minutes, so take the review with a grain of salt. So far I am very impressed. In the 15 minutes I’ve had it I set it up and linked all my streaming accounts. It’s plug and play. It starts up, you choose your channels, enter your sign in info and you’re good to go. I’ve linked Netflix, Prime, and Disney plus. I also downloaded the remote app to my phone. No more losing the remote!! I got this device because we can’t stream Disney + on our PS3. Good price, small device, easy to set up, does what it’s supposed to!

If you are only looking for Netflix and Prime video, should be fine. Easy set up. Bought in November, 3 months later I get the “loading screen” for 90% of Apps I try to open(ie.SXM radio, Netflix etc). I had the Firestick and it lasted 1yr before giving me any kind of trouble. My internet signal is great, I now have to turn off Roku, open back up and try that 3-4 times resetting until it works.
No Crave(HBO) App or any Canadian sports channel streaming(Sportsnet, TSN).
No kodi to add those streaming connections yourself.
The CBS All access Roku provides has most everything on a Netflix and Prime Video account, but with ads.
Unfortunate I cant send back, 3 mnths is all I got for $45.
Sorry but I can’t recommend this product.

Buyers please note that the amazon product description says the usb wall wart is included but it is not for the 3930CA model, and there are conflicting answers in the questions section. This was important to me because my television’s built in usb does not have enough current to power this device. You need a quality usb adapter with at least 1 amp output or you may experience random crashes or reboots.
As an owner of four 2018 roku express units, i love them for ease of use and this model is no exception. I just want buyers to know an adapter does not come with this one.

Bought this because I’d been using a PS3 to stream Netflix, YouTube and Amazon. But with Disney+ coming out and Sony not wanting to update their old system, I needed something new. This is perfect. Small, and full of free streaming sites, and ones I pay for anyway. Perfect for my needs. Highly recommend this.

For $35 this is awesome. Plays Netflix youtube etc perfectly in 1080p. If you dont need kodi this baby is perfect. I’ve got a mix box and a nvidea shield box for games and kodi but they were $200 plus. This does everything the same minus kodi. Comes loaded with the popular channels. You can add more. You do need a credit card to create your account but nothing is charged unless you buy something from the roku store.

I purchased this Roku on a whim (after a bit of research) wanting a device to hopefully replace the growing number of devices we’ve been using to access various kinds of media. I did a little digging into various media streamers from various companies and even compared what the different models of Roku offered. This one seemed to fit the bill with support for a lot of what we were looking for and with a plan of being connected to a non-4K TV, we didn’t see a need to go into the more expensive models. Here’s some quick notes:
+ The unit itself is TINY (barely larger than a tic-tac box), taking up no space near our TV.
+ Dead easy to use remote and extremely simple setup. Up and running in mins.
+ Snappy and simple interface, free of intrusive ads or forced suggestions.
+ Tons of streaming service support (Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube, AppleTV, Cineplex and so on)
+ DLNA support (The ability to play media from a NAS or other connected server/computer over wifi)
+ Solid built in closed captioning and with tons of customization options (something my wife and I enjoy)
+ $40 is a complete steal.
– I had to google this, but, you never really turn it off. It doesn’t have a power button, you just turn off your TV. It’s meant to always be on to do quick updates. Feels alien to me, but not a big issue.
– Custom buttons on remote for specific services are useless if you don’t use the service. It’d be nice to customize these.

Almost everything about this product is exceptional value for money, however, if I had to find things to be crtitical about I would say that:
1 – the hdmi cable should probably be at least 12 inches longer to accomodate large tvs and unit placement
2 – the remote has been designed in such a way that it is meant to be more ‘intuitive’ rather than filled with 1 specific button for each specific operation. I understand why they did this, and I think that after using it for a week 99% of people will catch on, however it was difficult to explain to my father who is ‘not of the age of high technology’ .
To me these seem like minor issues or to some people might be just what they’re looking for, I note them here simply due to the fact that “I love it” as a review contains almost no informational value.

This little tiny thing is just perfect. I just got it an hour ago and it took less then 10 minutes to set up. If you don’t have a Roku account that’s ok, you can sign up quickly like I did (no charge). I’m in Canada, I’m able to stream almost everything! Netflix, Disney+ etc… just one HDMI/USB to your tv and that’s about it! Buying another one for the living room! Overall great purchase!
