I was too hopeful –
Not even close buddy. This does NOT fit on a 1510 pelican case. In any way, shape, or form. They are too wide to fit in in cutout where they go.. These are for Nanuk cases. People… do not say things will fit and not post pictures to prove it. On a positive note,, these locking clamps are solid and seem very well built. They are comfortable to use.. The pins are very solid as well. I truthfully wish they fit on my peli… unfortunately they do not. I may be looking into the same size Nanuk case now…. I want to give them 5 stars but I haven’t used them. Seem pretty solid though.

They are very easy to install and fit perfectly. My only complaint is concerning delivery. UPS did not attempt delivery at my home leaving the package at one of their drop off sites. I will buy another set when I get my next Nanuk case.

I recently purchased a Nanuk 915 case and I wanted to secure my gear. I did a lot of online research, but most websites indicated this product did not fit the 915 case, so I purchased the external Nanuk combination locks. Those locks work well, but they rattle, they’re cumbersome, and they are another piece of equipment to keep up with. Then a few days ago I discovered a website with an updated list of compatible cases which shows this retrofit kit fits the 915 case. So I ordered immediately. The video in the Amazon listing is all the installation instructions you need. It took about 10 minutes total to do the upgrade and I could not be happier. If you have a Nanuk case, you’ll love this upgrade.

These powerclaws are a terrific addition to the Nanuk cases. I have the 915 for the Mavic Air 2 and the latches fit perfectly. Installation was very easy. Gives some peace of mind in deterring someone from digging through my gear while flying.

I have Nanuk and Pelican cases. Pelicans are not as customizable , at least in the lock arena. The Nanuk flip lock is an easy DIY replacement to the stock flip snap. Nanuk also has a TSA combo bar lock that can be added (works on Pelicans as well). I do not believe either lock is immune from picking or bashing, but what lock is. I use both when traveling, both are TSA accessible (o joy); I’m hoping it will make it just a little harder for anyone else but me to open the case to rummage my dirty underwear and socks.

Added security without the need for other locks. Easy to install (instructional video can be found online) on the Nanuk 935 case I just bought. Minor complaint is it took almost two weeks to receive within Canada so make sure you have time before you need it as it took a week longer than stated delivery time on listing.
