For it’s price, I really hope there’s warranty for this bag. Really disappointed. I’ve only had my bag for two months and there’s already tearing at the bottom. It was a great bag up until this.

This backpack has a lot going for it, it doesn’t look like a camera bag, it’s got plenty of space, it has the quick access side zip, but it’s got some odd quirks that set it back. The adjustable padded inserts have two velcro tracks (instead of totally clingy material) that can only connect to certain parts of the internal padding meaning customization options are limited. The top area has ample space and I though it was balanced well with the camera section but that laptop slot was in the front and had nothing to hold it in so is could easily slip out of the bag when it wasn’t synched. Ultimately I returned to my Lowepro Tahoe BP 150 where I could fit all the same stuff more comfortably (minus a 70-200) which I had to keep in the top open area anyway. With the Tahoe everything can be stowed away and organized whereas with the Tarion all my small gear was rattling around in the top area as there are no small pockets for stuff.

I was worrier about having to replace my trusty old Lowepro bag that has a side pocket that you access your camera through. That was an absolute requirement for me. Plus I needed to carry my 15 inch Chromebook with it, which I couldn’t do with my old bag.
Yes, my new Tarion bag carries my 15 inch Chromebook with ease! There is a pocket inside accessed through the top where it slides right in. Don’t worry about the zipper concern that others posted, because that is not where you insert the laptop at all! It goes in through the top. It fits perfectly and it’s not awkward at all.
The side pocket works beautifully. The zippers are much better than my old bag. It zips around the corner silky smooth.
I’m actually on a trip right now traveling with it. This, bag, is, awesome, full stop. Don’t worry about any concerns for a split second. Get it!

I love the backpack with one serious exception. I would keep it if it weren’t for its tripod placement. By placing it on the side, the tripod creates an imbalance that leads to back pain. Placing it in the middle or the bottom to distribute the weight equally would be much, much better. Your mileage may vary, of course, but for me the backache is a deal breaker. Unfortunately, it’s going back.

I am a content creator from Toronto Canada & I was in search of a new camera bag.
Something that was stylish, good quality , could carry all my equipment while in motion & easy to access my stuff.
In search I found my new Tarion Bag, this bag is everything I was searching for and more.
I got the bag just before my trip to Costa Rica where I currently am right now . I have used it through stressful airport moving, through buses & small domestic planes . I’ve used it for the beach, and just hiking through my travels & I am impressed by how much easier this bag has made my life.
I look forward to continued comfort with my new bag & I suggest this bag to anybody looking for a new accessory to there equipment .
You won’t be disappointed

This is a great bag for the price, my camera and equipment feels secure and fits comfortably in the bag along with my other things I’m carrying around. I’m using this bag as a photography student, so this bag carries my camera, lenses and other various equipment, my textbooks, laptop(MacBook Air) and other miscellaneous items. This bag handles everything well, is so far holding the weight of everything well and is showing no signs of wear. It’s a comfortable bag to carry around all day as well. I love it, no big complaints at all. I wish there was a little bit more room at the top of the bag to accommodate for larger books, but that is in no way a deal breaker.
This bag is definitely worth it – if you’re hesitating, don’t.

I love love love this bag. I have went on one trip with it, and only after having it for EXACTLY 2 months, there’s a whole in the bag. I have treated this bag like my baby (as I love the bag like I said, and all of my photography equipment is in it, and it unfortunately must just be made with poor quality). If it wasn’t for that, I would leave 5 stars. I was really hoping this bag would last me a few years.

I needed this bag for a trip, and it worked out very well overall. The space for the camera is large enough to fit a good amount of equipment, the bag construction is very good, and even when it was full, it felt comfortable.
If I had a small complaint it’s that I wish the top portion, which is a big space, had small pockets in it or something so I could put pens in there or to organize things. On the bright side, the space can fit a lot in it, but it’s just not possible to organize it without your own organizer inside it.

Good bag for using as hand luggage if you don’t wanna check your gear in the hold. Easily fits my 6D with three lenses, filter holder and various filter, all cables and spares, tripod, and then you’ve got all the space in the top compartment too. The tripod doesn’t drop down underneath the bag like on the picture, and the strap that holds it against the bag is a little bit too low for mine so the tripod does lean away from the bag slightly at the top, so I do catch it on doorframes and things occasionally which is a bit annoying.
Camera compartment it accessible from the back and the side which is handy.
For the price, very happy with it.

I compared this to all the other side access camera backpacks on Amazon and it looked like the best option. It looked good, had good storage options and had generally great reviews so I picked one up. I was disappointed.
The good:
– It looks great.
– The materials used in the exterior are nice.
– Can confirm it is waterproof.
The bad:
– The waist straps are too thin and when not in use are constantly in the way.
– The carry handle naturally wants to drop down so it constantly gets stuck behind your neck which is really uncomfortable.
– The pocket in the zip compartment of the leather accent is REALLY shallow. I thought i’d be able to use the entire “lid” area for more storage but i’d says its probably smaller than an average jeans pocket.
– The camera compartment is a pain to set up. The Velcro is pretty strong but the actual material used for the separators is really weak. 2 of the separators fell apart after moving them just twice. They’re also not as flexible as you’d expect so you can’t really get around things. You’re limited to squared off compartments.
– You only get 4 separators, 2 small and 2 larger “L” shaped ones. This really limits your options for how you can separate the space.
– The main separator between the camera area and backpack area is made from the same material as the other separators so don’t expect to be able to put too much in the backpack area without affecting your camera gear. The main separator fell into the camera area a handful of times and it was always a pain to get back to normal.
Summary:
The bag looks good and the external quality and appearance is very good, but everything that’s supposed to set this bag apart from a standard backpack lets it down massively.

Very stylish and very well made at a reasonable price. Feels very sturdy and well padded. I also like the fact that the camera compartment can only be accessed from the back, so you have piece of mind that it’s safe.
The quick side access to the camera and the tripod strap are a nice feature to have. My only irk with this is that if you have a tripod strapped to the bag then it obstructs access to the water bottle pouch! Otherwise it’s a nice feature.
The camera compartment is very spacious and can easily fit the camera plus 3-4 lenses plus accessories (flash, batteries, filters).
The top compartment is a handy addition for your other belongings, such as a rain coat, wallet or a small packed lunch. It could do with being a little bigger perhaps but the space is probably ample for most needs.
All in all a very good bag and probably one of the better ones to get out there.

I am super impressed. I was looking for a backpack that holds my camera and some equipment but also has space for everything else that i need. My wallet, some water, maybe even a book. This one is perfect and also looks amazing. Not a fan of those typical black campers backpacks at all. Very happy.
