MegaGear Ultra Light Neoprene Camera Case Compatible with Nikon Coolpix P1000

G. Heys –
Quick delivery and well packaged. The reason I gave this product 4 star instead of 5 star is that the lens hood (supplied with the camera) has to be removed to fit inside this case. Somewhat frustrating as re-fitting the lens hood has to be done everytime I remove the camera from the case.
Sly –
I personally. wouldn’t buy this product if I knew that it fits only without the lens cap, even then it is pretty tight
Terence William Hone –
Can’t see what I can test, yes the camera fits perfectly and appears to be protected by the case..
jojo –
It will protect my camera great thankyou
Steve Missen –
Awkward to place cam in and remove. Too snug, probably won’t use it which is shame.

I bought this to have some protection when transporting my Nikon P1000.
The case fits the camera perfectly and it fits even when you have the lens hood reverse mounted, (i.e. not in use).
The neoprene-type material offers better protection than the synthetic type OEM case that I have for my DSLR.
Please see the photo of their card included with the product. They are not offering something super-complicated but it was well packaged, mostly in paper not plastic, good for the planet. They are selling something which does the job, does it well and is a reasonable price in my opinion compared to the alternatives.
I rarely write a review unless I think a product is especially bad or especially merits highlighting for ‘doing what it says on the tin’ and doing that very well. In this case, I also took the time to photograph and write the review for another reason. The company asked politely and with humility, at least in my opinion if the buyer liked the product whether they would leave a review.
In the last decade or so we have all become use self-promotion from companies and individuals who are almost pathologically un-self-aware. Most of us are fed up of being told to ‘like and subscribe’. What this company, (Megagear) wrote is instructive.
First and foremost.
Thanks.
Then that they appreciate the business and the they hope the product is appreciated.
Finally that the feedback of whatever type is greatly appreciated and they ask you to provide it on Amazon and if you are unhappy in any way, to e-mail them directly.
It was a well structured appeal which resulted in a time-poor person like myself responding.
As my French colleagues would say, ‘Chapeau! Megagear’.
Client d’Amazon –
Parfait.

Only small request, if you can modify design to completely cover camera’s back…thank you
Elgin Campbell –
The case fits the camera and protects it.
