Took this diving in Cozumel in March. Lots of other divers with GoPros but none with a light. Many comments and questions from other divers, particularly after seeing it in action during our dives – day or night. My dive flashlight failed on me during one night dive so I was very happy to have this mounted on a telescoping pole. I just left it on for the whole dive. I tested the duration of the batteries pre-dive and the light lasted 2 hours on full intensity. Easy to charge in the unit itself or if you have a GoPro 4 charger, you can use that instead. The light provided excellent fill during the day (within a reasonable distance) and was plenty bright at night. Really impressed with the price/performance on this light.

Wrote a huge review on how awesome this light is being very detailed but it was deleted when I was taking picyures of it. To sum up a long review this is a must have for Longboarders who travel at night or day. It’s extremely bright and well made. I use it with my action camera and there is no way any car or vehicles can miss you coming. The battery has a long life and I use it combined with my BLOCK RISERS which is a cool and durable invention for skateboards and Longboards. Hit puddles while bombing down huge hills and completely soaked this thing and still is going strong. A+++ Highly recommended. Haven’t taken it swimming but I will soon. Not a single complaint, even came out of the box fully charged with 3 light settings freaking bright, not so bright and super bright flashing. Cheers

The Light is described as waterproof, I put the light under a running tap for 1-minute,
and as you can see from the attached picture if you look at the bottom of the light you can see the water level,
these lights are a complete waste of money

Very good light for the price. Ideal that the batteries are same as my go pro 4 means taking spares for secon dive is much easier.
Also batteries last really well. Can be used as a floodlight for the whole 45 mins of my night dives.
On the negative side the battery cover seems to be latched very lightly. That is compared to go pro underwater housing. However in 10 dives down to 35 meters there was no sign of any leak. So maybe I worry unnecessarily!

It dose what a light dose and bright with two preset brightness recargable plug in back with two batterys inside and has that regular rubber seal where in opens to keep water out . used this for youtube when working on something in a tight spot like a engine bay or under a car or someware where my lams cant get at this will. since we do car stuff and work in a quonset hut dungon and dark with no skylights so watever the studio lights cant get or will create a shadow with this shining where the camera looks looks great, I can see its function on atv’s at night. and one thing i never saw it looks like a spoon but that ataches on the screws to tighten and loosen the bolt perfect.

Overall please with the product, but there is no way this is 300 Lumens. I would say it;s more like 100 – 150 max. Also, the light is not solid, you can see a brighter section right in the middle that glows a warmer yellow depending on how far back you are form the object.

This was a gift for someone with a GoPro 8. It is reasonably lightweight with the batteries installed. Really brightens up the scene without too harsh lighting. For the price, it’s great!

I am a scuba diving instructor and used it a lot in diving in the UK. It was nice and bright under the water I was really surprised. Unfortunately the inside where the electronics are there has been a built up of condensation and it ruined the electrical board in two months of use. I’ve tried to revive it with little success. So it didn’t work good for me

Nice light, looks good and like the rechargeable batteries. The light is not very bright, I have yet to try it underwater but I don’t think it will be bright enough to see far.

To me it was a loss of money. I have bought it for scuba diving.
I have dived 6 times (the deepest dive was 28 metres).
While under water the lights could not be turned off and in a couple of minutes the torch was dead.
When opened, I have found about 20 ml of water inside.
It seems like a low quality product that is not worth the money even though it is so cheap.
Try finding a more expensive one that will last 100 dives not 6. Do the math and it will come even cheaper 🙂

As a certified diver, use my light all the time. In conects to my gopro mount on the top of my mask. It is light enough that it doesn’t move your mask around. Love it.

Just bought this light and so far I’m impressed!
Battery life is good for what I use it for. Know leaking or water getting in battery case.
Will update again after I really us it.

For the price I’m content with the light. Not tested at depth as yet but waterproof in 3m pool so far. Will dive deeper with it in a couple of weeks time.
Battery life is good but not as good as stated. 2 hours on full power. Just over 5 hours on the lower setting. (I wouldn’t consider testing the flashing light for several hours.)
I fit it to a mask with a gopro mount to use like a head torch. It is not heavy so doesn’t spoil the fit of the mask seal. The mount point is also well back on the housing so it doesn’t touch my forehead.
It’s bright and should make guage reading easy. It is also very easy to turn on and off as the button is not fiddly.

Several months later I’m very pleased with this. Used at sports diver depths no problem. I have confidence in it and use it whenever I need extra light. Feels easy to carry on mask. I’m just used to having directional light now whenever I want it. Other divers can easily see me at surface or underwater
