Spigen Ultra Hybrid Works with Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Case (2020) – Crystal Clear

Ich habe eine transparente Handyhülle gesucht damit ich das schöne rot von meinem Samsung S20 FE besser sehen kann. Die Hülle passt bombenfest und macht einen mehr als soliden Eindruck. Aussparungen und Knöpfe sind ideal an das Handy angepasst und lassen sich perfekt nutzen. Der einzige Nachteil ist das die Hülle etwas dicker ist und etwas “aufträgt” was aber auch notwendig ist um den guten Schutz zu gewährleisten. Es gibt sicher dünnere Hüllen aber es schützen mit Sicherheit die wenigsten so gut wie diese. Auch die Aussparung für die Kamera ist sehr großzügig und ein verkratzen der linse nahezu unmöglich. Wie lange die Hülle so schön klar bleibt oder ob sie schnell vergilbt kann ich noch nicht sagen aber ich werde diese Info zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt gerne nachreichen…

Hard to comment on durability or sturdiness – I am not about to to purposely put it to the test with my new phone in it. That being said, it appears to be good quality. The cut-outs all line up well, and it fits snug enough to stay put. The edges have some flex to them which I like, because I have had more expensive cases in the past, but the edges cracked around the cut-outs because there was no flex at all. There seems to be a slight lip around the screen and lenses to protect the glass. On a cosmetic note, this clear case highlights the pretty color of my phone rather than hiding it in an ugly plain black case. First impressions were all in all quite good.

The product is well made and I have had no problems with it. I have only dropped my phone 3 times and it has saved it from any damages. If you live in Canada and order this be prepared to wait a while for it to arrive. (took about 3 weeks for me). The clear design also compliments the nice colours from the S20 FE lineup.

This Spigen case for the S20 FE is very well designed. It’s not too thick and provides adequate protection while showing off the look of your phone. Even if you slap on a thin Dbrand skin underneath, it still works!

There’s some nice little details as well. There’s a small lip on the bottom edge that helps raise it to the same height as the camera protection. This prevents the clear plastic back from scratching as easily. The button locations have small slits to keep the button presses crisp and tactile. The “AIR CUSHION TECHNOLOGY” lettering fits neatly in the slim card slot. The four air cushions on each of the corners is a nice small square that looks almost like a tiny gem or just a design that looks very good and provides function.

Raised lip at the front is maybe 1.5-2mm? It is unobtrusive. No sound deterioration of the speakers. Made in South Korea. Very nice. Slight flaw is mold lines might be a tiny bit noticeable if you run your hand across it. No problems in normal use.

I ordered this case after googling best cases for the s20fe. This was on the list and decided to order it off Amazon. Unfortunately, right out of the box, the case came all scratched and scuffed up. Almost as if it was returned and sold again. I was extremely disappointed so I contacted the spigen customer service. They responded and said that the case came from the Amazon wearhouse and that they would send me another one from them instead of theAmazon warehouse. Big difference from getting it from spigen. For one, the case came with a plastic screen peel off to protect the case from scratches unlike the one Amazon sent me. I appreciate spigen for helping me out and recommend ordering off the site instead of Amazon! Four stars for the case. But 0 stars from getting it from Amazon.

I researched cases very carefully before settling on this one. It seems there isn’t a great deal of choice and therefore I had initially been worried, but I didn’t need to be. This case really fits the bill, and I am delighted with it. Once on the phone, you are reassured by the cushioning all the way round with a focus on the more vulnerable spots/corners. I have combined the case with a Spigen screen protector, and I really am reassured that my phone will be safe. It is a snug fit and not the easiest to get off, so make sure you have put your new SIM in prior to putting the cover on. Aesthetically in my view it’s great. For the first time in my years of using phone cases, I can actually see the colour of my phone without covering it up, and the cover is crystal clear (no yellow tint, at least at the moment). It does add a couple of mm to the thickness of the phone, but there is no such thing as a 0mm case, so that was always going to be a compromise if I wanted to protect my phone. Yes it does make a large phone larger, but if you don’t like large phones, then it is this phone that is not for you rather than the case, which I don’t think is especially big. I don’t find it slippery; certainly my phone is less slippery with it on than without. An excellent mix of aesthetics, ergonomics and protection.
