Wish I did more research and bought another watch. Heart rate is inaccurate making all my exercise recordings inaccurate and that’s why I bought it. I’ve reached steps goals while taking a shower or doing the dishes. The watch has irritated/darkened my skin where it typically rests. I also wish it had more exercise modes.

Looks good, not easy to understand functionality though, was difficult to set up notifications, but works well once figured out. Excellent battery.

It is such a great watch. Exactly what I was looking for. It has it’s on GPS, it can track my route in the remote paths I take for my walks. My only complaint is that Garmin is not compatible with fitbit type of apps, so I cant compete with my friends. Both my kids have Garmin’s though and we challenge eachother.

It’s definitely a fake copy, the packaging, the watch finish, the screen font, super not genuine, i had an original garmin and this one is not even similar, even the code on the box doesn’t match the code on garmin’s website, and when you pair it with the app it gives a diff watch identity, it really pissed me off as i was really excited for it to come, and got really disappointed.. i had to buy it here as we’re in a full lockdown but never again..i’m so gonna return it..

2 members of my family now have one of these and they absolutely love them! Simple and sleek design with a user friendly interface.

This watch is horrible. It doesn’t track appropriately, it turns off and on after being fully charged and it will not sync with my phone for messages or calls. I have attempted every possible solution suggested on the garmin webpage to fix the problem and nothing works. I would not buy this watch or at the very least don’t buy it from Amazon. Garmin has a warranty policy

It looks great. Less like a smart/sports watch and more like a stylish piece. Was a present for my wife and she loves it.
Waterproof, GPS, tracks walks/runs accurately, get messages on the watch screen, Android pay so you don’t need your wallet or phone, etc.
Heart rate tracking is pretty good for a wrist watch, but sleep tracking is ok. With average usage battery life is really good, charge just once a week.
If you can pick this up on sale – then these are a real bargain with all the features.

I must have a dud, or something! I find this fitness watch frustrating to say the least.
1. It seems to only properly monitor heart rate when in full upright position, i.e, walking or running. Anything else trips it up. I will be doing push-up, burpees, kettlebell swings, mountain climbers, Russian twists, etc and this thing says I’m not even over 100 bpm meanwhile I’m in an intense HITT session and am PANTING!
2. I tried fixing the monitoring issue by wiping down my wrist or flipping the watch around so it’s on my inside wrist. Nope. No workies.
3. The ability to add custom workouts for HITT training is not easy, if not even possible. So I have “cardio” and that’s it.
4. The App tracking is “ok”. Much prefer Polar’s App on how it looks at your workouts weekly and tells you how many minutes/hours you worked out that week and how many calories you burned.
5. Turning off the notifications feature doesn’t work. Still get stupid ads, text messages, etc displaying on my watch.
I don’t care for all the settings. I just want a reliable watch that properly tracks heart rate and then calories. I had a Polar A370 that I purchased twice (the second one was to replace the first one when it wore it out). The Polar is more basic but it’s reliable and accurate.
Two good things about the Garmin?
1. It’s very pretty. I can wear it daily and not just for fitness (white band/rose gold ring)
2. GPS function
So is mine a dud???

I have been in touch with Garmin on several occasions. They acknowledge the lack of functionality of the heart rate monitoring and offered an additional product to purchase from them at a discounted price (a Heart Rate Strap). So it’s a heart rate watch that doesn’t measure heart rate. That’s like buy a swimsuit that is not supposed to go in water. WHAT? They won’t replace, they won’t refund. They’re telling me I just need to buy more from them.
If you want a Heart Rate watch that measures heart rate for walking? Then this is VERY expensive but an option. Want it for more? Go elsewhere. This is not for you just like it’s not for me.

Nice gadget to promote a more active lifestyle. It tracks my metrics well enough and connects to my mobile to display notifications for new messages.
Screen is a little too sensitive and I keep inevitably activate random features.

Absolutely love my Garmin watch. It took me a little to figure out how to set up my running work outs, but I have figured it out. It tracks my running accurately. I have no regrets and would recommend it. It can track so many activities it’s an awesome watch to buy for an active person.

I bought this watch to replace my third Fitbit Ionic (2 of which were replaced by Fitbit under warranty). The Garmin is better suited to my needs as it has water based activities available (SUP, kitesurfing, surfing), which the Fitbit ionic did not have. Although the Ionic display was nicer in that it was more colourful and vivid, I prefer the Garmin as it is always ‘on’, so that you can see the time without having to flick your wrist to activate it. I also prefer the cosmetic look of this Garmin over the Ionic.
