***UPDATE *** The next day the mouse and keyboard stopped working properly. I did the recommended mouse driver remove and reinstall, to no avail. Then I switched out to an old keyboard/mouse combo I had, and got the same mouse stutter etc. I have returned the computer, and ordered a replacement.***
Box was damaged, but the computer was not…Yay. So far, so good, but I am surprised and disappointed by the fan noise. I have another desktop with SSD, and there is NO fan noise. I am happy that the keyboard includes the number pad, and the mouse is comfortable. The box was Very light, and I thought it might contain just a 27 monitor, not an All in One. It is Very Light; likely half the weight of the other All in One I have! Overall, after using for a couple hours, I am satisfied with the PC. Excellent value.

The media could not be loaded.
It’s almost perfect, especially the big screen, I like it. But I chose to return the goods on the first day of unpacking. Two reasons. 1. Only the power adapter is found, but there is no connection cable. 2. The fatal cause, the CPU temperature is too high. It is usually above 80 degrees Celsius, and it will reach above 90 degrees Celsius when running any program frequently. Very sorry and disappointed. I hope this is not a common phenomenon, I hope it is only a rare case. I will buy another one, hopefully there will be no problems.

I’m pretty content with this Acer… like the product in general and have always had good luck with Acer. The 2 problems that I found is first and most importantly, even when the sound is at 100% it is still not loud enough if you want to take a class and have to move away from being directly in front of the screen. This is really inconvenient because you’ll need an extra set of speakers if you want this for on-line classes… and who doesn’t these days. The second problem is the keyboard that they sent with it. It’s garbage. The touch is fabulous but it doubles up on letters, the wi-fi connection is intermittent a lot of the time and you’ll finish typing a line of dialogue and loop up to find 2 or 3 letters from many words and lots of spaces… so yes you’ll need to get another keyboard. Is it a great deal… no. Is it a good deal… yes.

El envio y embalado perfecto, compra y transaccion muy rapida y eficiente, en cuanto al equipo….Bueno….Es “rapido”… pero no tiene nada instalado, usa Wind 10, el procesador aveces se pone lento …es de menos de 2 Ghz, aunque me permite tener abiertas unas 2 o 3 pantallas diferentes y tarda un poco en cargar youtube, en cuanto a los Apps, trae Office 365 y hay q pagar como 1800 anuales x liciencia, trae norton x 1 mes gratis luego hay q pagar como 500 x año, y Te permite acceder a la nube de Acer , para poder acceder al equippo desde que lo enciendes te pide tarjeta de credito o debito…lo cual es raro… ademas de nombre y datos personales, su antivirus norton es malo… instale otros 3 antivirus y detecto mucho malware pero norton no detecto nada, trae un Explorador Firefox aunque bueno hay apps como la del sdantander que no me deja acceder ni en google ni en firefox ni en otras paginas, el Dropbox es gratis solo con 2 gb de cifrado y 100 en plan basico y No es compatible con Onedrive de Microsoft el cual te da 5GB gratis y 100 GB por $40 x mes en pago anual y 1TB x 1540 y el plan personal de Microsoft 365 con 1 TB es de 130 pesos mexicanos x mes…..osea hay gastos que vendran y no se contemplan……wn general bastante buen equipo pára usar en oficina , no util para entorno grafico de diseño ni de juegos, …en general muy feliz con el equipo……. Actualizacion….Finales de 0ct 2021…..despues de 3 meses de uso….la maquina simplemente ya no encendio…. a pesar que tiene su regulador ….dos tecnicos dijeron que se quemo el Disco Duro…..Que al ser equipo tan moderno es tan fragil que con cualquier descarga electrica por minima o la estatica causa anulacion de la maquina, …..Fue muy caro pagar para sacar la informacion….. cobraron 4300 pesos mexicanos por recuperar la informacion…..CAMBIO De PARECER Y No MERECE uno GASTAR en un Equipo de ESTOS….PD…..La idea de comprar un Equipo es que te resolvera problemas …no que generara problemas y gastos extras que no tienes contemplados……Aun asi se envio a Garantia…. y Todavia por definir si la haran valida ya que se le manipulo para abrir y sacar la informacion…….. Postada….no vale la pena en contratar la Nube …lo que si debes hacer es Comprar un Disco Duro Externo…..Te ahorrara dolores de cabeza…..Dios los Bendiga…

OK, let me be upfront. I have not bought a new computer for, what, 9 years? My Mac Pro still works. Well, in fact. I used to have PC’s and Macs, but since 2010, only a Mac. I run Windows 7 on my Mac, as well as (of course) OS X. I have avoided Windows 10 for as long as it has been out… 🙂
But I need another computer, and this one looked like it might just be perfect. Opening the box and getting the stuff out was easy, and assembling the computer (one screw) was very easy. Just take off the rear foot on the stand, insert and tighten the screw. Replace the foot.
So far, so good. Plug it in. Put batteries in the BT keyboard and BT mouse. The instructions were for USB keyboard and mouse, so I was quite happy they shipped with BT. And now.. .TA DA! Power it on. And wait. I did not measure the time, but it must have been 2 minutes or more until finally Cortana started speaking. OK, this is cool. Never set up Windows 10 before… She asked if I was in the United States, and I said “YES.” Oops… Still listening… Ah. Forgot to plug in the camera… So I did, and rebooted. Same problem. Computer can’t hear me. So, I was given the option to click on my country. That’s when I noticed… NO CURSOR! Checked the mouse – yup, LED blinking…
So, I called their support line. I had to wait a few minutes, but not too bad at all. I had a little difficulty understanding their speech – but then, I have a hearing problem… 🙂 But he was able to get me to “find” the BT dongle that plugs into the USB port, hidden in the battery compartment of the mouse. It works for both keyboard AND mouse. So, plugged that in, rebooted, and we have a CURSOR!!! Still, Cortana can’t hear me. So we proceed with setup.
At some point in setup, I was asked for permission to use the microphone… 🙂 Ah. I said OK, and the next question from Cortana I answered and … she heard me! OK!
So far, two things that would have made the setup much easier:
1. Make sure we know about the BT dongle in the mouse
2. Make sure we know that Cortana can’t hear us until after we enable the microphone
OK, so we completed the setup, and ended up on the Win10 home screen (of which I am not familiar). Sure looks different than Windows 7! But GORGEOUS..! WOW! This is one amazing display! Black is really BLACK, and the amazing background image of (I guess) water or something is truly beautiful. It stands out against the pitch black background, making it look almost 3D!
Very VERY impressed by the screen, and the ease of adjusting its angle. So, proceeded to update the system software, and play around with settings. I measured boot time at about 100+ seconds, slower than my Mac Pro, but not bad. But I totally LOVE the screen! I have what was top of the line LCD from 2010 on my Mac, but there is no comparison!
Computer seems pretty fast (fast enough for what I am going to use it for), very nice packaging – beautiful in fact. It’s almost as nice as a iMac.. 🙂 But a lot less expensive. And I must say, Windows 10 interface does seem to be an improvement, now that they have had time to get a lot of bugs out.
You can read the specs: 1GB hard drive, Gigabit ethernet, fast wifi, turbo-boost, i5 processor. Nice keyboard – feels good (but different – have to get used to it), and good mouse as well.
So, 5 stars to Acer! This is a reasonably priced super duper computer – will do must anything unless you are into video editing (probably can do that to, but not as fast as a pro would want). And it only uses like 15 watts of power, or something like that! No fan, so very quiet. I like that. You can hear very softly the hard drive when it is reading and writing, but I did not hear it spinning up at all.
This unit takes very little space on the desktop – another very nice feature, has HDMI output if you want to feed it to another display, and both USB 2 and 3.
Now the built-in stereo speakers are dinky, but that is what you would expect for such a thin device (it is very thin on the top, thicker on the bottom). So audio out jack can be used to feed external speakers with some actual bass… 🙂 I never use built-in speakers because they always sound tinny… But in a pinch, you can certainly hear Cortana with them…
I will repeat something I said earlier: The screen is BEAUTIFUL! Heck, it could be HAL behind the screen, I would still love the screen! Or maybe Cortana is HAL, with a female voice? 🙂

Buscábamos una computadora ACER y esta es mas que perfecta. El equipo trabaja muy bien y equipada con un SSD su velocidad de respuesta es muy buena. Llegó super rápido y en perfectas condiciones, sin duda la recomiendo ampliamente, además de que anteriormente he tenido equipos de la marca que han trabajado super bien.

Quede enamorado de la computadora funciona genial, no me ha fallado en nada, si la quieres ten en cuenta que no es para gaming ya que no refrigera muy bien y eso puede afectar el procesador pero fuera de eso es una compra muy buena

This computer was a breeze to setup, Bought it for a client. Computer its self loads very quickly and operates quickly. The screen is beautiful. I setup the system for use with word and accounting software everything loads very quickly. Looks good with netflix as well. Not sure how well it would work with games but for business it’s perfect.

Would have given it a 5 if the ports were on the front instead of the back. A little awkward to use. other than that no problems. Remember to take plug out of mouse and plug into back of computer or your mouse will not work

El audio es muy malo. Tuve que conectarle bocinas externas ya las internas no son buenas.

I researched the best computers for seniors and this was #1. My son set it up for me and I have not had a
problem figuring it out. I like the large screen, clear resolution, and simple explanations and instructions. I just have to describe my problem or inquiry and I receive clear steps to resolve or answer my question. That makes it a lot less complicated and frustrating than most computers. It works for me and I love it.
