Small, but has a bit of weight on it which adds to the security (or so I imagine). Could probably be broken into with small wire cutters in less than 5 mins. I would use this to prevent casual thiefs oppose to protecting something very valuable. Nice backpack lock when traveling. Also nice it came with 3 sets of keys (6 keys total) and all the keys are the same so you can lose a couple and not worry!

Can’t fault it because it’s made for like gym lockers and such but even as a beginner lock picker I can pick it in a matter of seconds.
But that doesn’t matter — it’s too small to be used to protect much beyond luggage or small lockers.

They are durable and nice locks, I was really happy with the product. Only to realize after trying all the locks and keys that one of them wasn’t the correct key to that lock. Disappointed…

All keyed-alike which a bonus if one family member loses their set of keys. All keys fit I to all locks easily and opens/closes easily. Good to keep opportunist thieves out but not meant for high security as it’s meant for TSA access.

Nice for traveling. Keeps your luggage locked up securely, so no one is tempted to look inside when using checked in luggage at a large resort or casino.

Great little locks for luggage. For years I’ve used TUMI locks that are very similar in size and work well on my suitcases. The TUMI are gradually failing…the hasp falls out…so I bought these as replacements. These have the added advantage of being TSA friendly, which is an advantage for airline travel in the US.
I generally use these on a variety of suitcases and duffels, so I needed a bunch (say six) all keyed alike, as I carry the key on my normal (daily) key ring so I always have the key handy. I also keep a spare key in other places like in my backpack.
When I bought six (two sets of three), I thought they might be all keyed alike, since they have the same TSA number stamped on them. Afraid NOT, the two sets of three were keyed differently, so I’d have to carry two keys now…and you can’t easily tell which key fits which lock. I tried to find a larger set of six being sold with common keys…but no luck. I gave my second set of three to my wife so they don’t get mixed up with my first set.
Otherwise, the locks worked perfectly on a recent 18-day trip to Japan. No issues with locking or opening unexpectedly. Look to be a better construction than my old TUMI locks.
Highly recommended for those wanting three or less key-alike locks….and they come with lots of extra keys.

This is my second set of locks and I was hoping that the myth I read from another review was true. Not all of these locks have the same key. All the locks you get in one set have the same key as they should. Don’t kid yourself though, as I bought two sets of locks and the keys are different between the two sets. That is good and bad as I wanted to give away two locks and keep four… Yep you guessed it… My loss was my girlfriends gain as I gave her a full set of three locks so as not to have to bother with a separate set of keys… 🙂 These really are great locks would highly recommend.

My family and I were taking a vacation and needed something to lock our bags with. These worked like a charm. There are 3 of us so this was awesome because we received 3 locks. I like the fact that it comes with double keys. They are solid and very durable. On our flight back, my boyfriend’s luggage was searched and we only knew because the contents inside were a mess but they include a piece of paper stating that they opened and searched his bag. It was nice because they did not have to break the lock as it is a TSA approved padlock. I would recommend these locks for anyone looking for a mini padlock to do the trick.

A little bit funny because when the package arrived all the locks fell out of their case. The lock still inside the package though. The lock looks good, easy to use, not really smooth when you turn the key, but I’m ok with it

I found each of the locks, no matter which key was used, to be difficult to turn once the key was inserted and tried to be twisted. Very finnicky operation which probably means frustration when trying to open the locks when unpacking, partcularly if in a hurried situation. Have tradionally used combination locks but they are heavier and can somethiems be a challenge to read when lighting isn’t great and when in a hurry. I thought these locks would make life simpler. Hmmmm. Maybe not!

so I wouldn’t recommend it at all
the 3 locks are not good quality, when u try to open the lock you will struggle to make it work
the keys as well are not smooth
I used oil to help lubricate it still no luck the three locks are not good
the design is perfect ,also they are really tiny not as in picture it’s the size of one of your thumb

These mini-locks won’t really prevent a determined thief from opening your luggage, but are pretty good for the mostly psychological purpose they’re meant to fulfil. Sturdy; can take the abuse of numerous intercontinental trips.
Their one negative aspect is that the keys – which all probably have the same cut pattern – don’t go all the way in the lock very easily.
