I really like this bag & everyone that sees it, likes it as well! This bag is well made & like that the strap is adjustable. If I was to find something I’m not really liking it is the padding for the strap as doesn’t stay in place for me, I always have to adjust it. This isn’t a big deal, just a lit’l thing, doesn’t take away from my rating, just not use to it I guess. Thank you Very much for a great bag…love the size, everything!!🙂

Received this messenger bag today, a few days earlier than expected. Wow what a lovely leather bag, well made and excellent for the price. I have lots of leather bags (radley) which I’ve paid a large sum of money for but I can honestly say I wish I’d have known about these bags a long time ago. The reason I looked for this bag in the first place was that I’d seen someone in a country pub which we had visited using one……so as soon as I got home i trugged the Internet to find the exact one….which I did and honestly could not believe it for the price. I would definatly recommend this bag to anyone who likes a good leather bag!

Buckles are firm and sturdy, I love that they are real – there is a clasp mechanism for quick opening under the strap to the buckles- it isn’t visable though – see the pics attached. Stitching and studs are firm and excellent quality. This satchel is way way better than I expected and a real bargain. Let me dismiss any doubt you might have about purchasing from this seller or the quality of his product…. Its Amazing value for money. Wonderful note also attached from the seller explaining how to care for the leather and on the flip side there is another note thanking you for your purchase with his website address and what seems to be his personal email address. I would have no hesitation buying from this seller again and highly recommend his products.

Recently received Komal’s 11inch leather satchel. Hard leather softens with kneading. Good stitching, solid rivets, fairly sturdy thickness to leather. Earthy natural smell. Sits well on hip with a cross body hang. Buckle up closures not snaps, which I prefer. Treated it with silicone mink oil and rubbed it in good. Bit of a lingering waxy feel to the surface of the leather which should fade as treatment works in and buffs out. Sealed some of the stitching that looked like it might fray. Overall very pleased with the design and quality of the bag.

The quality of this bag has surprised me. The materials used, the craftsmanship used, and presentation of the bag itself in a smart cotton carrier-bag – as well as a personal letter from the maker are all most impressive. People to whom I’ve shown the bag today (it arrived this morning) have guessed its value to be at least twice that which I paid to Amazon. The bag itself contains all the pockets, zipped or not, that I need in a bag, including a spacious central place from my diary and wallet. I can even click my car keys to one of the brass rings that connect the strap to the bag. I am delighted. Yes, as warned it has a strong herb aroma, but it is not disagreeable and I can expect it to fade. Also the colour is much lighter than that shown in Amazon. I am told in the letter, signed by the maker, that the leather will darken in time. I would be happy with the light, or dark colour. He has included his email address and website URL and is anxious that buyers should be completely satisfied – or to contact him at once for a solution. He says this is a new business and if he continues in this vein, I am sure it will be a resounding success. Well done Komal Chaudhari of Passion Leather!

This bag has an odour which the instructions said was from the tanning etc of the leather. It is very strong and I cannot use the bag because of it. I cannot have the bag in the same room as me. Too stinky. I’ll put it outside because the weather is now allowing it.
UPDATE: It’s been a few days now and the bag still smells. I hope it goes away soon. I’ll update y’all if/when the smell goes away. Meanwhile, it’s hanging on a rack to air it out.
UPDATE: I am returning it. The smell is not going away and I want to use it, so I’m getting a refund. Too bad though..I liked it.

Wow! This bag is better than I could have imagined! You couldn’t buy a decent non-leather bag for this price, and this bag is awesome! Unique, durable, and beautiful. It arrived carefully packaged, with the buckles and metal features wrapped so they don’t scratch the leather in transit.
There’s a nice care instruction note included.
The bag itself is excellent. It’s a great size – it’ll fit my tablet and my essentials. Alternatively I could fit a bottle of water, or a book…
There are three outside pockets – one small buckle-fastened one on the front, one zip fastened one also on the front, and a very handy zip-fastened one on the back – great for stuff you want to reach quickly.
The main section of the bag looks buckle-fastened, but it’s actually very convenient clasps that you just press to undo. So no need to fiddle with a double buckle every time you want to get something out.
Inside is a main pocket, a side pocket, and a zip pocket. I love having a bag with separate compartments to have a place for everything, so this is ideal.
The strap is a good length to wear cross-body or side-slung and is adjustable, with a nice touch of a leather sliding pad to cushion your shoulder.
Overall I’m impressed at the quality of the leather, the workmanship, and the design. It’s a steal at the price – it truly looks much more expensive.
What has struck me is the care taken over small features that overall add up to a very thoughtfully made and presented product. I’ll definitely be recommending Kamal’s Passion leather to my friends, and I’d buy from this maker again.
