SMILING PINKER Little Girls Crewneck Cardigan Button Solid Uniform Sweaters

I bought this sweater, for my daughter to stuff in her back pack, and wear with her school uniform. It will probably get a lot of abuse. This is a nice garment. The fabric has a lot of stretch, and snap back to it. (It masquerades as a fancy silk, lycra blend) It will not wrinkle, and it will hold its shape; unlike a thinner cotton cardigan. Its very soft. The fit was good. Also.. It was cheap! If she tears it up. Ill buy another one and womt be to upset about it. . I only give it 3 stars, because, 1. It needs to be hand washed… and 2. I think, Im going to have to replace the buttons. The top one came off, right out of the pack. And the pearls are just glued on to the gold part, and you can see the glue if you look close. I think it would look like a very expensive garment, with nicer buttons. But thats just my preference. Its not Lands End. But it is a nice product. Dont be afraid to buy. For reference, my daughter in a slim 9 year old and I got the 7/8 size.

This sweater has got to be one of the worst purchases I’ve made in a long time. When it arrived, I was so happy with the beautiful fabric, the sheen, and the great fit. It was soft and really completed the outfit. But then it was used for a couple of hours and it looked like a sheep!!! The entire thing was covered in horrible pills! I tried taking them off with my good de-pilling machine and it looked somewhat better, but then when it was used again it looked just as horrible as before. There’s no point in working to de-pill a sweater for a half hour every time after it’s being used. Garbage.

Very nice sweater. Made well and is fit as expected.

This is definitely not cotton. I mean it has a certain percentage of cotton – zero to be exact. I bought a similar one before and then this one (by mistake apparently) and from the use of the prior one I can tell – definitely not cotton. Why mislead consumers?

Also. notably, there is no label for a county or origin (unless there is “Smiling pinker” country). This is actually a violation! The Textile Fiber Products Identification Act and Wool Products Labeling Act require that “textile products that are imported must be labeled as required by the Customs Service. A textile or wool product partially manufactured in the U.S. and partially manufactured in another country must be labeled to show both foreign and domestic processing.” The Act is meant to protect consumers.

Where did you make it and what is it really made of?

We got this as part of my daughter’s uniform. Looks great and is very soft.
