Received mine today in black colour. I’m a 40” waist and this belt goes round me once and the end is above my rear jeans pocket, so about 1 1/3 times round me total.
Buckle is lightweight plastic but is nice and secure. Clamps down tight on the belt. The extra elastic loop is a nice touch so if the belt end is in between your trouser loops you can tuck it in it so it’s not hanging and flapping loose.
The end of the belt is cut and melted which leaves a sharp edge that could do with a bit of smoothing away at the edges.(see photo).

Size issue
I bought this belt because it can be locked in any position and because it had great reviews. I expected it to be like other nylon belts I have (e.g. craghoppers trousers). These are small, lightweight, and you barely know you’re wearing it. But this belt is a very wide men’s belt with a buckle width of 4.5cms! I tried it on but it dug in to me when sitting down and was not comfortable.
This problem is a real shame because the belt was otherwise excellent. It locks in place so tighly that it will never slip undone like with other belts with an infinte range of adjustments. The belt can be resized and the buckle can even be replaced with a new one. There is even a free additional buckle which comes with it. I was very impressed with this. I seriously hope they consider making a smaller version.

I have a black belt like this too, and it too has a spare buckle. Whenever I travel and go through airport security I always dread the metal detector (I don’t like wasting my time trying to get through there). These belts are definitely the solution. I have flown twice now with my plastic buckled belt and have not triggered the metal detector. In fact, one of the airport security people even asked me before I went through if mine was plastic (because most people take their belts off before going through)…so I’m obviously not the only one who thinks this is a great idea.

I needed a new belt for construction work. I have a belly, so when I bend over my waist puts strain on most belts. Leather ones stretch out with rigorous work, which is daily for me. Slip buckle ones require tightening 100x/day. This belt does not. It has taken me at my full glory at work and asked for more. Doesn’t absorb sweat and smells like other materials, and the buckle is pleasingly strong. Will buy a second.

It’s an overall pretty cheep feeling belt, not at all what you would expect for an $18-20 belt. The strap is generally cheap feeling, it isn’t as flexible or comfortable as other belts I’ve tried. But when you cut it to size, the end does melt easily, so that’s nice. The belt buckle is really cheap as well. Mine came with a spare buckle which is good, because the first one wouldn’t close properly. The spare buckle did actually work, although it didn’t close very well and it always felt like it was going to break. That being said, once closed the belt doesn’t slip. I later bought an underarmour belt with a similar style buckle except in metal for around $20 (I think regular retail is 25). The difference between the two is night and day, the strap material on the underarmour belt is nice and flexible, the buckle closes well every time, and also never slips. The underarmour belt looks better, is more comfortable, and functions better, all while being the same price or only $5 more.
If this was a $5 belt I would have been happy with it and it probably would have been a good 4/5 star item. $20 for this belt is just ridiculous, especially when you compare it to the competition in the same price bracket. These are the kinds of items that really make me wonder if some companies fake reviews.

Great value for money. Very secure fully adjustable buckle, good sturdy belt, very impressed. I been wearing it ever since I brought it and feel very comfortable really simple to adjust. Will buy another one for my father.

I just got this so I will update this review if any problems with durability, but out of the box, it looks and feels like a good quality bet. The belt itself is very sturdy looking. It was easy to cut to the length I wanted and to seal the end against fraying. I wanted a waterproof belt for skiing and this will fit the bill. The buckle works well – my only concern is the durability of the buckle. It is all plastic, which is not a problem as long as it does not crack. I’ve had plastic buckles like this that have cracked in the past, so I will give an update if there are problems. One really nice thing is that it came with an extra buckle, so I guess if one breaks I have a back up.

1st day – I love it, arrived on time and so far it is what I had hoped for. It is as long as they say and my observation I am sure this could easily fit a size 42 and likely 44 mens pants. I will be trimming off some for sure but will give it a few days to break in as there is an elastic strip to hold in extra that passes through the buckle as you would normally expect on a belt.
Update, a year later, still ticking, looks brand new and ear it almost daily. My only issue is the joke of elastic strap to insert the excess belt into, did not last 2 weeks before it was totally useless. Not worth reducing a start but dont count on it to be a part of the belt for long.

Used this whilst travelling the other day and didn’t have to take it off to get through airport security. Anything that reduces the annoyance of airport procedures is a good thing in my book. Also wear it with jeans and in work. It’s slightly military looking in a good way. Seems very strong – looks like it’ll last forever. Fully adjustable too, so will fit anyone. Bargain for seven quid delivered.
UPDATE: Over two years on and this belt is still going strong and as good as new. Can’t fault it. Great product.

We fly often enough to want to minimise the hassle of airports and airport ‘security’. Clothes with metal buttons, metal belt buckles, metal anything -all have to be removed before the body scan.
After doing the shuffle-of-shame with descending trousers one time too often, I looked for a belt with a non-metallic buckle. This was it.
My concern was that a plastic belt buckle might fail and leave me shuffling full time. So I bought a few of these belts just in case, in assorted colours.
They worked! Not just for flying – they are reliable enough for everyday use with no problems in six months.
Not a major ‘fashion’ item, but smart enough for a big bloke like me in most situations. Ideal for flying!
So these belts are tough enough to use daily, look good enough for most of the time, and do not set off the metal detectors.
Recommended!

After I ruined yet another buckle-hole type belt after just several months of use I’m convinced that buckle-hole belts are just a BAD DESIGN and started looking for alternative designs.
Two major alternatives to buckle-hole belts that I could find are
(1) ratchet belts, and
(2) military style buckle belts (like this belt)
and I went with the second option because it’s cheaper and has better selection.
Here are pros and cons of this particular military style buckle belt:
PROS:
+ No annoying buckle holes that will eventually make the belt look miserable
+ Better fit than buckle-hole belts
+ Very lightweight
+ Very easy to shorten the length of the belt
CONS:
– Plastic buckle, while works well, doesn’t have the “premium” look
– Plastic buckle FEELS less durable than metal buckles
Edit:
Turns out ratchet belts aren’t that expensive (although they are on amazon.ca). If the plastic buckle isn’t your requirement, you might want to check out ratchet belts on AliExpress (it’s called “automatic belts” there) that cost about $10. I like the design of ratchet belts a lot better.

I just received the belt this weekend. And right when im done with this review ill be getting another one ordered! Extremely great quality! I was just a few days ago in a store looking at similar products. And the prices were not even close! 30 to 85 dollars lol.
This is top shelf. And the extra buckle included was a nice touch! Although i doubt ill need it. The
Belt is very sturdy and strong!
Thanks for quality at a reasonable price!

I would not have purchased this if I had of paid attention and realized it has a plastic buckle. Especially considering there is another belt available almost exactly like this but with a metal buckle.
It also does not bode well that they give you a spare buckle, indicating, at least to me, that they expect it to break.
The belt fit well, and the buckle works well considering it’s plastic.
When these buckles finally break, the next one with be the same design with a metal buckle.
