Bought this for my son who is 15 and just made 6ft. Its very lightweight but extremely warm. It was good value and delivered on time

Just received it and hopefully too late in the season to justify until winter arrives again.
So my impressions were from just trying it on:
– very comfy
– like the high collar – without the hood up it’ll keep the neck warm
– large hood
One gripe: pockets. There are no inside pockets and the outer pockets are not zippered so where does one stuff small stuff especially a phone? IMHO an oversight.

I was questioning myself buying this . I was really 50/50 . But when it arrived and I put on . It feels really light and comfortable. I work night so im usually out late in the cold and rain and this coat is spot on . Really warm and looks smart at well . Thank you . Would definelty buy again and will be telling my friends

Great jacket, really warm but suitable for walking as it is fairly breathable. Shower resistant but wouldn’t suggest suitable for downpours however I will be adding a waterproofing treatment to solve this. Like other reviewers I feel the addition of zipped and inside pockets would have been nice, but maybe this is why the item is so cheap. I normally wear size M jackets but went to L for this as the sizing is a little snug, and I like to be able to wear layers if necessary underneath – as I said above though this is so warm that even on the coldest days I don’t need to wear a lot of layers under the jacket. Each member of my family has one if these (wife, two daughters and myself). Recommended definitely.

I can’t complain for the price I feel its good for Canadian late fall/early winter weather. I’m short(5’6″) with broad shoulders so I always have the predicament of too big and it’s a dress too small and I’m ripping the jacket like the hulk when i go to put my shoes on. I chose medium and I find it snug in the shoulders(I could put on my shoes fine but wouldn’t have a 20 min snowball fight for minimal range of motion) but I like it a bit snug to contain body heat and I can still put my shoes on and walk the dog just fine while the length of the jacket is perfect. It is a thin jacket so it doesn’t look like I’m the michelin man while it also looks better than the big depo store jackets for the same price. It must be a quality “thinsulate” because it contains body heat well. Don’t expect to wear this in the middle of winter in Winterpeg but in Calgary I feel prepared for most days in a place where you can get all 4 seasons in fall/winter. If you’re skinny in the shoulder width and under 6′ a medium will fit you perfectly as I have a long back, wide shoulders(due to my labour intensive job) but am short in the legs. Hence the dress effect stated in the beginning. Can’t get any better for this price but the hood is very thin so don’t expect it to keep your head warm as much as just blocking the wind(toque or headband recommended if it’s really cold)

Bought this jacket for my car survival/camping kit because I’m a bit of a prepper and was preparing for winter conditions.
Jacket is super light, really locks in your body heat. I work outside a lot and it’s just hitting-5C and I find myself overheating in this thing.
I have yet to use this on a long winter camp yet but I have some confidence that tbis will work very well.
Used this hunting, you think you’d get cold sitting in a blind (some wind cover but not that much) for 12 hours with minimal movement but I was comfortable.
Company claims it can handle -30C depending on some factors and I believe it should be able to. Just walk a lot and you’ll be fine.
I’ve been walking a lot of trails with weather around -2C and actually had to take the jacket off I was so warm.
What was meant for my car kit became an every day wear instead! Comfy, warm and light.
Edit/update: I wotk in a messy outdoor job with dirt and mud and stuff. This jacket has held up to rain, snow, slush, dirty, mud, mud water, paint and a whole lot more. I am super toasty even at -10C, the jacket is super durable. I cannot count the times I’ve gotten a nail on/against this thing during my day in way that have ripped other jackets. This one hasn’t ripped or punctured or anything! I’m going to buy another one for non-work stuff (It’s great but I can’t show up in a dirty jacket).
Hands are cold? Toss them in the pocmets, your body heats reflects instantly and quite well. Warms my hands up! At most I’ll have a flannel jacket (You know, that red and black checkered jumber jacket underneath but I find I have to still rake this coat off because I get too warm!
BUY THIS THING PEOPLE!

I purchased this a few weeks ago. I’ve been wearing it daily through the Canadian winter since then. Saying I love it would be an understatement. It looks really good, fits well, is very but warm. I’m surprised how warm it feels given how light it is. So far zero complaints. Take your measurements, use the sizing chart and get one size up for a comfortable fit.
Only thing I wish it had was a string to tighten the hood cos when its windy it blows right off. This isn’t a big deal though as it only happens if the jacket isn’t zipped all the way up. If it is, the zipper being closed keeps the hood in place.
Still five star for what it is!

This is NOT a winter jacket , more like an autumn jacket.
It is alot thinner than i was expecting , when it’s called a puffer jacket it should be puffy. Right?
There is also no loop to hang the jacket on a hook.
Both pockets are very deep , there are only 2 pockets , no inside pockets , no zippers on the pockets.
I got an extra large , but fits more like a large.
It is a nice looking jacket , so i will keep it , but i was looking for a puffer winter jacket. My search continues….

What a great jacket for the price. Fits nicely. I usually wear a medium or large. The large is perfect. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it is lacking any inside pockets. The outside pockets don’t have any zippers either, so no real way to keep things that I normally would in my opinion her jackets with an inside pocket. That is quite disappointing, but other than that it is a well-fitting and comfortable jacket.

I wanted to put it through it’s paces before leaving a review so here’s what I got. After a cold hunting season and several -10/-15 days here in Quebec this coat has been a great decision. It’s warm, it fits well, looks good. Only complaint is the water resistance, I thought it was going to hold up a bit better to rain but I did find that it got wet fairly quickly after a significant downpour but it’s nothing major. I’ve worn this out in -25 celsius (including wind chill) with only a t-shirt under and was nice and toasty inside. Pair it with a big knit scarf and you’ll be fine everywhere!

Plain old cajones i’m afraid. I took this jacket on a trip to Everest base camp at -5’c it was ok but you’d have to layer up under it. We had a small earthquake 5.6 and the jacket stood up to it quite well. The quake started off an avalanche and the jacket developed some small tears. My tent was damaged leaving a large tear in the back of the tent. That night a large amorous yeti forced its way into my tent and ravaged me, I was wearing my jacket. He didn’t even buy me a drink. When I woke up in the morning my jacket was gone. I was heart broken.

For the price this jacket is awesome. I live on northern Ontario and I feel like it should be good for the cold winters. I’m about 5 foot 7, 150lbs and I got a medium and it fits well.

For the price it’s a steal!
It’s light, great quality and keeps you at the perfect temp! My late night walk home tonight, temp was 2, it kept me at just the right heat, not overly hot.
It fits perfect! I am 5’10ish and around 175 pounds and the medium fits just right and that’s with a jumper/hoodie underneath comfortably!
For comparison some other brands and the sizes I wear….
Trespass – S/M
North face – M
Top Man – S/M
Vans – S/M
Superdry – M/L
Regatta – S/M
Adidas – M
New Look – M
Hope this helps!
