I bought these boots to hike Mount Washington, NH and they were amazing! They have really good traction on ice and mud. They’re waterproof and very comfortable. I went for a 9 hour hike the first time I wore them and didn’t get any blisters. I highly recommend these boots!

I bought these after doing a fair bit of research, these seemed to have good reviews and were within my price range and didn’t look hideous. I was so pleasantly surprised, they are comfortable, they didn’t hurt, I wore them in before our big camping trip, I got some good hiking socks, and off we went on 16-20km hikes, through mud, rocks, water, by the end, my feet and socks were bone dry and still comfortable, great investment!

So comfortable and easy to break in. I got one blister on my toe, but even though I wore these boots to hike for 4-6 hours/day of hiking for the next week, the blister never even burst.
Also literally half the cost of the same boot anywhere else.

I am a size 4.5 normally with a wide toe area. I ordered a size 4.5 in these boots, but they felt too snug in the toe box area. I was concerned my feet would be too cramped, so I sent them back. I’ve done some more research and one website suggested these boots are suitable for wide feet, but you should opt for half a size up. So I’ve ordered a size 5. Fingers crossed.

These are great! They are super lightweight and comfortable. The sole isn’t slippery and grips well. I’ve only used them for a walk in the rain and haven’t taken them to a proper hike yet, but I’m impressed. I accidentally ordered a 8.5 instead of a 8, and it seems they’re exactly half a size bigger, which means they’re true to size. It will be perfect with warm socks in the winter.
As others said, they are not as soft inside as other hiking boots. The sole is pretty flexible thought. My arches are neutral so I don’t feel that anything is missing for me.
They are pretty narrow – as someone said before, if your feet are on the wider side – take the wide size. My feet at average width and these are snug.
Shoe laces are a little stiff and are untying easily. Maybe I’ll replace them or buy one of these shoe lace pins.
Overall – love them! They don’t look chonky and manly like other hiking boots.

    Pros:
Boot fit perfectly. I’m an 8.5, ordered an 8.5, and took them to work the next day with no blisters. They are waterproof. Good grip on them.

    Cons:

However, I read a lot of reviews before purchasing these boots and trusted them but my boots did not meet my expectations. I love and trust Colombia, but these boots get extremely hot with a little sunlight. Your feet feel as if they are burning and I often have to put water on them to cool them down. I’m a field biologist working in San Clemente Island and we hike where there’s lots of cholla and prickly pears. The cholla went right through my boots! Very painful. The worst part is that this is the only pair of boots I have with me on the island so I have to suffer with them until I get off.

These boots are absolutely amazing!! Worth every penny and I can’t recommend them enough!!
They fit a bit large for me but if you put on a thick hiking sock or get an insole, they fit perfectly. They are super light and sooo comfortable, I didn’t get a single blister while wearing them. They’re good to drive in as well.
I got them for a last minute trip and wore them first on a day of about 6km of hiking (hills, forests, mud, etc.) and they were perfect. Wore them the next day for an 18km uphill climb in the mountains and returned with no blisters, no pain, 0 slips or falls, 100% dry feet. They are absolutely waterproof as well! I have worn them on my winter hikes as well and my feet stayed warm even when snow got into the boots, and I had no slips. They were probably one of my best purchases and I can only highly recommend them to others!

I purchased these boots (10W because I have bunions) to go for walks during the winter and wondered if they would be warm. We received 13 cm of snow and I wore these boots with a pair of men’s thermal 80% cotton socks and went for a 40 minutes walk . When I came back, I knew I was right to buy them. They were comfortable and provided great support for my feet . My lower legs outer muscles didn’t hurt at all compared to when I walk with my sneakers. My feet stayed dry and warm despite the snow and slush

I bought these boots for their waterproof feature unfortunately the rubber on the toe is already separating. I wear these boots every day at work but I expected them to last more than a couple weeks being Columbia.

Really comfortable and nice looking boot. Have worn for a few hours. Not too hot for walking. Note it is a hiking boot and not a winter boot. I sprayed boots with silicone water guard to make sure of extra protection but don’t know if that would be needed. Just extra assurance. I made sure not to buy suede as I know those show wear much more quickly. Totally happy with purchase. Would buy again. Update: Have had these 6 months. Still fit, look and feel great. Have worn on ice and snow -30 Celsius for short time. Grip is really good. No slipping. I wear with medium thickness socks and bought size I buy for regular runners/sneakers and they fit as normal.

I broke these boots in a few days before embarking in a multi-day treck through the highland backpacking trail. First off, they’re very comfy. Second, they’re not water proof. Which leads us to the next part of the story: I set these boots on fire when I placed them a little too close to the fire trying to dry them out after a long day of hiking through the rain. Didn’t notice at first, but now the entire top of my boot is melted. Honestly wasn’t sure if I’d be able to use them after that, but I had no choice but to try, as I was already a day into the hike with no backup shoes. I pried up the laces and gave em a go. Turns out, melting the plastic made them waterproof. They’re ugly as all hell now, but they’re more functional than ever. 10/10 would buy and melt again.
