great shoes — quality seems awesome too — I would highly suggest a size down from what you typically wear.. Im concerned they will slip off in the water — we are returning and exchanging for a smaller size of the same shoe! – UPDATE: upon purchasing smaller size in same style and slightly different style – I can say, one style is true to shoe size, the other is on the looser side – Still great shoes – but its trial and error with this one!

since im disabled and cannot wear actual shoes, these water socks give me the ability to walk with out having to wear a huge constricting boot and i can use my wheelchair without having to wear some big honkin boot.

I am so confused by all the “size up” comments here. I am a woman, I ignored those comments, followed the suggested size chart listed here, bought a Large as I wear a woman’s 8. The shoes are at least an inch too big. They gap at the toe and the entire rear of my foot lifts. They would fall off in the water for swimming or water aerobics. The size chart on the bag is different and would have also had me size up, but in fact, I need to size down from the size chart listed here to a medium. They are cute, appear they would be comfy if fit right, and have decent traction on the bottoms while being lightweight. I will return and size down, hoping this does the trick for me. I will adjust my rating to a higher score if so. Shipping time was awesome as was packaging.

Will buy again, very good quality water shoes, water also doesn’t get stuck inside. This is well suited for waterparks and general purpose water activity. Will not use as Reef Boots, as has fairly thin sole and will not protect your toes if you bump into a rock.

Pleasantly surprised. These are much better than wearing slippers or sandals which are dangerous for running in the house or going down stairs in my opinion. They are not bulky at all and not slippery.
As a bonus, they don’t have a thick heel so you feel almost like you’re barefoot, but without being cold or uncomfortable. As advertised. Probably good for posture too, cheaper than buying athletic barefoot shoes which isn’t worth it if it’s just for indoors.

Reviewing for initial purchase. Just received these and haven’t worn them to the beach yet (which is why I bought them) but so far these are great! I read other reviews and decided to order a size down and so glad I did. I wear women’s 10 but ordered the L which is 8.5-9. They fit great, feels like socks! If I would have ordered the size it suggested I don’t think they would stay on very well. Just hope they last me through my MX trip! Will update after vaca for condition and durability report!

Necessary. Absolutely necessary to go into the ocean. You never know what you might walk on. Right before i went to Jamaica, there was a news report of a couple of just returned only to have to go for surgery because of worms in their feet. So the choice for me was pretty easy – spend $20 or have the very off, but still possible, chance of getting worms or infections in my feet if I cut them on rocks/metal/sharp objects in the water. On top of that, it was nice to be able to wear shoes to and from the ocean back to the hotel room, without having to put on socks with wet feet or getting my regular shoes full of sand.
These shoes are comfy, but they are SNUG. I have size 10 feet, and I purchased these for size 10. Luckily they have lots of stretch and give, so your feet won’t be uncomfortable. It’s nice to have a somewhat tight fit so sand doesn’t get in between your toes or inside the shoes, making them easier to clean to use for next time.
My biggest and only complaint is that I only got to use the insole once before it deformed shape and never went back into the shoe properly again. My wife had the same issue. Luckily you don’t need the insole, but you will feel every detail of the ground you walk on, despite the rubberized soles of the shoe.
Overall, happy with the purchase. I’m glad I bought them, and they came in handy.

I am a women’s 6-7.5 size; bought size 6-7 and they fit perfectly. They are stretchy enough to be easy to get on and off. Was concerned that the sole would be too thin, but it is thick enough to feel secure about most sharp objects/rocks in the sand. A big piece of glass will make it through, but I have another pair with ticker soles for when I am rally worried. Do okay on slippery rocks as well. Have use them about 8 times so far, and they are wearing well. They may not last multiple seasons with my regular use, BUT that is Okay for the price.

These are nice shoes if you’re pretty much looking for sleek-fitting neoprene socks with a rubber bottom that aren’t heavy-duty (which I was), but: if you don’t get them in a nice, snug fit, they stretch a little when they’re wet and make swimming a bit precarious as they’re liable to slip off, especially if you dive into the water. I bought the smallest version of the these shoes – too big; so bought the biggest size of the kids ones instead (“big kids”) – also too big. Turns out the smallest adult shoes and the largest children’s shoes are the same size, just cheaper (and don’t come in black). I have small feet (size 5 or 5.5 women’s, 21.5cm) and found that the shoes fit fine when dry and have a little space at the toe, they’d be better if they were very form fitting when swimming. Now ordering the next size down (“little kids”) so we’ll see if they fit better…

We took them on a beach vacation, so they have been beach and pool tested, and they passed with flying colours. Before ordering, we were unsure about their quality and material, but they are actually well made. They are easy to pack and look good; they are also super lightweight, super flexible, and dry fast. Their most important feature is the rubberized soles. They sort of fit and feel like an ankle sock made out of a polyester/neoprene type material. I agree with other reviewers that the insole (a fairly thin piece of foam-like material cut to shape) deformed and became unusable after one use. The good news is that you can do away without the insole, but be aware that you will feel things on the ground more as you walk. I guess you could technically replace it with one from the dollar store and fit it by cutting it with a pair of scissors.
The shipment arrived promptly as the order was fulfilled by Amazon. Other similar products may take weeks to arrive depending on where the product is being shipped from, so that is something to keep in mind.
My wife bought the white version, which looks/feels like water repellant polyester fabric. I bought the black/blue version, which looks/feel more like neoprene (see pictures). She wears shoe size 6 to 6.5. She purchased a pair on M (W: 6.5-7.5) and they fit her well. I wear 10.5 and ordered the XXL (W: 12-13; M: 9.5-10.5). I had to return them. Trust me on this. If you are 10.5, order the XXXL (M: 11.5-12.5) size, otherwise, it will be too tight.
Overall, we were happy with the purchase.

More than anything you need to know is that the fitting chart doesn’t help. Read the many user questions right above this section and see that almost all of them ask questions about size. That means the person advertising these on this page isn’t doing a good enough job explaining his product and has never taken the time to read his customers’ questions and fix his ad.
The next thing you need to know is that there are actually at least three different styles listed (I’m not talking about colors but actual different products) but they make it sound like they are all the same product. There is a low-cut style, an ankle height style and a bootie style. They probably all fit differently but they don’t tell you that.
Next, know that these have a sole, which not all water shoes have. I have a pair of a similar style that is cut from one piece of neoprene and I love them in every way except one. Holes wore through the soles after only a few months of occasional use. That’s why I chose these to replace them.
The concept is the same but hopefully the extra thickness of the sole will help them last a little longer. What is unusual is that there is a flat inner sole that is not glued in or attached in any way. It doesn’t look very durable or waterproof and I would guess it is meant to be disposable but nowhere do they tell you that. If you leave it in it sort of flops around when you walk.
Going back to size, if it helps I normally wear a size US-9.5 shoe with normal socks. I ordered these in the totally confusing size of XXL(W:12-13,M:10-11)=EU43-44, which of course doesn’t make any sense at all. Here’s a hint – AFTER you add them to your cart they show you a different size scale which includes the Euro sizing. I converted mine to EUR 43-44 to calculate the correct US size. Adding to the confusion is their description of “Womens Summer Swim Shoes Men’s Water Shoes Quick-Dry Aqua Socks”. All that is supposed to describe the same shoe. Which is it? Are they men’s or women’s or unisex and are they swim shoes or water shoes or aqua socks (not exactly the same thing)? My choice was a total guess. They are actually slightly too large and I wish I had ordered one size down.
That’s way too much work a customer has to go through to order a simple product, and that makes me wonder how anyone could agree with that yet say they are a perfect five product. Doing that doesn’t help anybody, an accurate description is absolutely an important part of how good or bad a product is. For that reason I more accurately describe them as good but not great.

I purchased these water shoes for a upcoming lake trip to wear on the boat and in potentially rocky waters. I range from a size 8 in flats, heels, and sandals, to an 8.5 in athletic shoes. I have a normal width foot with a high arch. After reading other reviews, I went ahead and ordered up with the 8.5-9.5 size range and they are actually a perfect fit. My large toe just reaches the end and it fits snugly around my ankle. I went with the ‘outdoor jungle’ design, but was worried it wouldn’t arrive in time for my trip since it ships from overseas. I contacted L-RUN and they said they’d make sure they shipped right away so that they’d arrive before my trip. They arrived with a week to spare! I really appreciate their customer service. I went ahead and tested them out in the yard and our gravel road just walking around and they seem like pretty decent quality and should keep my feet protected from potential rocks and other objects while walking in a lake. Overall, I’d recommend this water shoe and the company – go a half size to one full size up in your range and they should fit.. (Note: I was not paid for this review)

i hate walking on the rough gravel walk ways to the beach in bare feet, almost as much as feeling those slimy rocks under water. went for a beach day in the caribbean, wore these all day and my feet thanked me for it.
they offer no support, and if you step on a larger sharp rock, you will feel it poke, but nothing punctured. i would not recommend them for a long hike, but for a walk from a hotel or ship to the beach, loitering at the beach and a swim in the ocean; definitely a win.
