Nice item, I like the idea it buttons up the front so no need to put over your head. the only thing I didn’t like was the elastic that is under your arm pit to hole in place…. to uncomfortable, so I just cut it off. works fine.

My daughter can wear hoodies and such at school as long as the collared uniform shirt is on under it so the hoodie is ‘outerwear’ so these helped us cheat the dress code perfectly.

The fabric is too short and rests just above the chest, so it’s not anchored anywhere and slides around. Works for intended purpose, but I have to wear a tight tank top overtop to keep the dickie from sliding around.

I can’t think of a single reason why somebody wouldn’t absolutely love this collar. It is a bright white color, has a nice broad lapel, is a quality material, and feels like it’s perfectly starched without being stiff. It looks crisp and clean, without adding any bulk or making you feel uncomfortable with that extra “crunchy” layer. It looks like a legitimate, well-made blouse. It does not slip or slide around at all. The straps adjust nicely. I had been worried that it wouldn’t stay put, but that is not the case at all. I am a major fussbudget, and I think this is top notch.

The item is as described and came in perfect shape. The only issue with the item in general is you can see the outline of the bottom of the button up through the top. Was I have done to kind of get around this is put it on underneath my bra that way it is hidden within the bra though it makes it bunch a bit. I guess the other way to get around this is having a thicker top/sweater over it? But I say for thinner sweaters/shirts this might not be ideal.

Based on good review I decided to purchase the black and white set. Since they are so tiny I decided to hand wash black one. What a night mare. I used mild detergent and Luke warm water to prevent colour fading but it didn’t help. The dark navy coloured water wouldn’t stop after 10 minutes, I kept rinsing it for another 15 minutes to get rid of the dark blue coloured water. I don’t know what kind of dying method the company used but it was the worst. After that, I iron it with low temperature and I could already see the colour has faded. If I put it in washer I wouldn’t know this but luckily I decided to hand wash this single dicky.
I haven’t tried washing the white one because I was too tired after the black one.
I don’t know if I got the lemon but it definitely not the one you want to put on your skin unwashed.

My only complaint is the length, which was not advertised. From the pictures I thought it would be longer. Measuring collar to hem, it is barely 9 inches; when I wear it, the hem sticks out and doesn’t come even halfway down my bra. It’s not noticeable with a thick sweater overtop, but when layered with lighter shirts I have to put my bra on over the dickey to keep it in place and make the sticking-out part less visible. A few of the shirts/jackets I hoped to wear it with don’t work now as the dickey hem doesn’t cover enough of my chest.
Other notes:
– The collar & shoulder measurements are smaller than advertised. It fits me well (I am slim, usually wear US blouse size S or M) but I think someone with a thicker neck would have difficulty.
– Black is very black, white is very white. The black shirt buttons are solid matte black while the white shirt buttons have a pattern. One of the buttons on my white shirt had a deformity in the pattern but I guess that’s just luck of the draw.
– Material is thick and slippery. It arrived very creased and I haven’t been able to get out the creases, but the way it was folded in the packaging, the collar was at least intact.
– It feels like good quality. No frayed threads or anything like that.
Overall I am satisfied enough and will wear it, just disappointed in the length and that I can’t wear it for all of the purposes I had hoped to.

they are good quality but are too big for a small person like me, in both width of the collar and also height. i thought the size of the collar wouldn’t matter but it really does and it looks ridiculously disproportional to me ! i’ve folded over the rim of the collar inward and sewn it in place, so now i can wear it without looking goofy, but now the buttons don’t sit right. if you are a smaller person, i would recommend trying to find a listing with a smaller collar.
Death at first sight –
One of my best purchases so far. I took one star off because of the overpacking; first was the Amazon package, then the typical zippered opaque plastic clothing bag, then another plastic bag for both items, then another bag for the black collar, and another one for the white. Honestly, it felt like I was opening one of those Russian dolls that contained another smaller Russian doll inside. Too much plastic waste.👎!
The actual review:
Upon opening the package, I was shocked by how much the false collars looked exactly like the product image and by how amazing it actually felt in my hands. I was expecting a cheap, rough, thin and flimsy colkar, but this product exceeded The wow factor. The fabric feels smooth and great and comfortable on my skin. It feels very high quality. The fabric is breathable and seems stain resistant. The black collar is a deep, rich, appealing solid shade of black, and the white collar is brighter than fresh linen. I recommend using non-violent bleach on this product just to preserve the qaulity.
